I'm missing some states.. just check in okay?

IL girls I know you're under a tornado watch today.. stay safe!!!

The rest of you hit last night.. y'all okay? Any damage?

We have some limbs down and got some hail but we got very lucky.

We were under a tornado warning last night, but got lucky when it fell apart before getting here. South of us wasn't so lucky. But, it wasn't as bad as they had predicted it to be. So thankful for that.

Power went out, pea sized hail (my friend 15 minutes south got grapefruit sized omg!) winds. Tornado sirens were going off. No damage and no tornadoes that we saw and the one reported moved away from us. *whew* Cannot wait for summer storm season to be over!

We had scares...and a bazooka load of rain..massive rain...but are good now. I haven't heard of damage in our area, though communities around us got more damage and a couple of tornadoes.

So glad to hear that all of you stayed safe. So heartbroken for those who lost.

I don't think I was even under severe storm warning... I don't even know if it rained. We are supposed to be under a watch or whatever later this afternoon.

Bazooka rain? Is that a lot, Darcy? :p Glad you are safe! My family in Joplin is good. We made it through our storm. We are just now hearing of all the damage. I have several friends that have lost homes. My cousin in Joplin....just found out yesterday that her house is a total loss. I am thankful that we didn't have anyone hurt but now the property damage is heartbreaking. We also have a missing toddler in Oklahoma. It is a horrible ordeal.....mom and siblings are in hospital. There have been reports of one of the siblings dying but not confirmed on the news yet. My heart is breaking for all of those dealing with the aftermath of the storms everywhere.

Glad you girls are safe! This weather is crazy.

My dad is living in Savanna IL right now (along the already flooded Mississippi) so I'm worried about him. He is in the NW corner of IL, so hopefully that is away from the areas of concern. He lives in a trailer park, which of course means he has no safe place in a tornado warning situation, unless he is smart and goes to my aunt's house. I can't reach him by phone. Has this storm totally knocked out cell phone service in that area?

We're in the risk area today so I'm hoping & praying for the best but we've got our storm cellar ready...just in case.

Here's today's risk areas:

I can't believe what I am seeing on television here. It looks like it's way worse than other years? I don't think I can imagine how it's like for those who are under watch or actually are in such a storm. Here in Holland we only have severe storms every now and then in fall and I think those are minor storms compared to what you are going through.

I hope everyone is safe. And stays safe!

We are good here. :) Like Mandy said, the tornado cell that was headed our direction broke apart before it got here. My heart is breaking for everyone who has damage/injuries/loss of life.
My brother JUST got his new roof and siding put on from last month's tornado that hit his house. I hope he doesn't get hit again!
Looks like we might be in for more storms tonight. :(

Stay safe everyone! I always hate seeing that white area when they talk about severe weather..ugh. We're supposed to get it later tonight and tomorrow here in MS but so far they're saying our tornado threat isn't nearly what most of y'all are dealing with or anything like we had a couple of weeks ago.

I am ready for tornado season to be done and hopefully we'll have a quiet summer..unless hurricane season is as bad as they're saying it will be :(

Ugh...we're in the white circle too....not cool. Our worst weather is supposed to come late afternoon/early evening...I am just praying I have my little family safely under our roof before anything hits... Stay safe everyone!!

We're in the red zone right now, but that white zone looks like it's heading our way if it keeps moving east. Monday wasn't fun, but we're making the basement more comfortable as it looks like this year we will be spending plenty of time in it with all the tornado warnings. So far we've been able to thankfully escape the damage that some of you all have been hit with and our hearts go out to those of you who have been hit.

I'm here! We've been very lucky so far and have been able to avoid any really severe weather. It looks like we have a good chance of thunderstorms on Friday though, and with as hot as it's been, they're likely to be pretty bad. Stay safe, everyone!

Storm just passed over us a bit ago. It was like storming it's balls off for about 10-15 minutes then was over. Though the winds up to the rain were strong enough to knock my mailbox diagonal.
