Oh.....I did it again....I bought new ones.
And I put them in the same folder as the other ones (before that I ended PSE). I opened PSE again.....but I don't see them :thumbdown:

Oh those are so fabulous!! But even with the coupon there's no way I can afford to spend that much on actions right now.

Everytime I rename my file it becomes much smaller and PSE takes ages to open again. And then I see I lost Jenn's styles too.
Now I switched to styles in PSE and got back to actions and now I do see them! So that works too I guess.

this is where i'm at too, trish. i have $40 in actions i'd LOVE to buy, but just can't justify spending that...granted, i'm saving just as much....Oh those are so fabulous!! But even with the coupon there's no way I can afford to spend that much on actions right now.

the reason it takes forever to open is because it's rebuilding that file... it should open fine after it's done that.

I love her actions, but until I figure out a better way to use them, I am not buying any more. Right now I get frustrated cause if I want to make something black and white, I have to try all her actions I own to figure out which are black and white, for example. I use PSE 5 if anyone has any suggestions for what I should do.

Honestly, I only use PSE for using her actions, nothing else, so I am not totally sure what I am doing. All I have is a little apple like thing with the name of the action on it.

I so agree with you! Most of the times it only has a name.....and I don't know the difference between stellar and striking if I want a black/white photo.
I guess we should see the jpg's in the original folder. And I would like to cluster the right actions in the right folder.
Like jenn's styles are called jenn's styles, nothing more or less.....but with actions it's one big list. I tried something before which didn't work with me. And it was a whole lot of work too.

I had an old tutorial for organizing actions in PSE 5 that included making thumbnails. I'll find it and upload it for you.

I just got the new ones, vintage crush, and they are by far my fave ever!!! They are more expensive but soooo worth it!!!
I also think that the ultimate photographer's toolbox is a must have!!!
I really want Fable but I didn't have enough paypal after getting the vintage crush ones
