Flab Redux Day 6

Did you exercise today? What did you do?


I'm determined to get back on the wagon today after a rough week of the kids being sick!!!
 
WOOT!!! I did week 1 of Jillian's Ripped in 30 and feel really good even though I had to modify some of it... and she whipped my butt!!!!
 
That's awesome, Heather! Great job!!!

I ran 6 miles today. It was a beautiful morning, and I felt great.

I've come to the realization that my problem is not finding the motivation to exercise. I like doing it. My problem is that I also like to eat - especially sweets. So I need to work harder at showing restraint in that area. ;)

I did 3 hours of weeding, trimming hedges, edging, deadheading flowers and planting 11 more veggies (zebra tomatoes, Serrano, strawberries, jalapenos, yellow striped tomatoes, cherry tomatoes). All my squashes, tomatoes, peppers, okra, beans and cucumbers have sprouted but waiting on the watermelon to get on board and sprout. Oh, and I'm playing tennis tonight too. I foresee sore arms tomorrow lol.
 
I got my butt in gear and walked 6 miles this morning. And my walking group is going to start walking in the mornings twice a week starting June 7th, so I'm happy (5 pm walks don't fit into the old work schedule). Still gotta walk the dogs tonight though...
Tomorrow's "exercise" is planned - gotta mow the lawn :p ....
 
Well, I did my exercise......I ran 2 miles today. Not as much as I wanted, was going for 3 but, I did reach a personal milestone of running 15 mins straight so I was happy about that. I ran 15 at 10.54 pace, walked 2 at 15 pace and then ran another 5 at 10.54 pace. I am so excited to see my strength and endurance building. I never in a million years thought I could be a runner but, here I am.....doing it! :thumbup:
 
I'm planning on doing my 2 or 3 miles on the treadmill tonight to break in the tata holder I got yesterday.
 
Today was a rest day for me but I had a 3 hour newborn photoshoot. So I feel like I worked out. I'm exhausted. Tomorrow is weight training and running. It is great reading what everyone is doing!
 
I put the kids in the double stroller and walked to the grocery store and back. Oh, and I spent an hour busting weeds out the ground...
