Heart FAILURE!

So we were outside yesterday before dark..playing with the kids and of course I had my camera. Well DH decided he wanted to throw the baseball with me so he took my camera and hung it from one of the poles on our clothesline. Then a little while later Ella had a potty incident and I had to take her inside to clean her up...DH said "go ahead I'll bring everything inside" and my last words to him before I shut the door was "don't forget my camera"

Well this morning I go out back to turn the sprinkler on our garden and I just happen to glance toward the clothesline and literally my heart SANK..b/c dangling right where he left it was my camera....now remember we live in the South so of course it was COVERED in dew.

Thankfullly, it seems to be okay..no moisture seems to have gotten inside the camera but guess who's in for a reckoning when he decides to wake up today!! :cursing:

But you know I've been wanting to upgrade so this may be my window of guilt to do that lol!
 
OMGosh Id die!! And I dont think my hubby would still be sleeping LOL!! Glad it is still working though. Hope it continues to work ok for you
 
I am all to familiar with that horrible sinking feeling in my stomach. I'm really glad it's still working, but girl!! Milk this for all it's worth! Guilt trip...
 
Oh I would kill him! J would have forgotten too though. I guess it's a good thing nothing seems damaged.

I would definitely be using some guilt tripping to upgrade.
 
OMG Nikki! That is terrible....I hope it continues to work ok. But true, you could just get that upgrade out of this one! ;)
 
Wowzer Nikki! It is suppose to be a good day for a soldier today......your DH is not going to be that lucky!!!! I am glad I am not him! I hope you can milk this for all it is worth! I would be ROYALLY ticked if my DH did the same.

Another one voting for the guilt trip. Make sure now to whine over every photo, you dislike in a way like: "I'm really not sure, if this is something with the camera. It seems to do that at random. So weird. Maybe it did get some damage that night out..."

Be sure to do that even when totally obvious to anyone it's motion blur, bad focussing and whatever. :)

I did that with my own camera one night! I was across the street at the neighbors playing on their equipment with my son, put it down to help him and forgot it until the next morning. I was freaking out when I got it, but it worked fine somehow.
 
That is something my husband would do too, that is why I never trust him and double check (while he's not looking, lol). I'm glad it all worked out, that would have really stunk if your camera was damaged!
 
Oh no!!!! Glad to hear that it's okay... but yeah, work it for all it's worth!! ;) Wasn't a lens damanged too??? That needs to be replaced... and the neck strap and the camera bag... all ruined!! :p
 
Oh dear... glad it's OK and working all that, but I will nag for some compensation for sure hehehe
 
I sure am glad I am not him today!
I do hope it turns out that it's all fine but this would be a nice opportunity to do that upgrade. =)
