In need of some ideas re: staircase walls

So I've been in my home for 4 years and in a mood to re-decorate my wall going upstairs to the 2nd floor. I usually only put like 4 frames or some wall word art but it's all blehhh :onow and I'm tired of looking at it I need to freshen it up.
Would you all be willing to show me what you've done :) or if you've seen anything you'd like to try;)

Well... for the last 3 years I've asked my hubby to hang up our wedding photos above the stairs that go down to the basement (it's open from our living room)... I'm STILL staring at blank walls... ;) No help...
 
I plan on doing this in my staircase :)

my grandparents covered the stairwell walls going up to the second floor with all the framed family photos. it's one of my favorite parts of the house, that stairwell.

oh that is no tmine, but I started today!!!! and did this...sorry about the crappy pictures my stairwell is dark!

did the words with my Cricut and some vinyl :)
 
What about getting heaps of different sized frames all in white (or your chosen colour). Use wide white mats inside the frame, then showcase your children's art. The colour of their art will pop against the white.

I like the idea of a tree or branch at the bottom of the stairs, with leaves/blossoms/birds blowing up the stairs
