STUPID ME!

I thought it was in the camera bag safely in the center with DH's phone and stuff. I had moved it to my back pocket so I could feel it vibrate because I could not hear it ring at the park with all the other noise.

It will turn on (eventually) and then the touch screen doesn't work. We have the insurance but of course I haven't backed up my phone data in a while. DH is plugging it into his computer today to see if he can retrieve anything and then off to the store! How am I going to live without my fancy phone for 2 weeks!!

We ended up buying a little trac phone so we could still text and call at the Disney parks. We had loads of fun (I'll share more later) but that did kinda put a damper on one of our days.:cursing:

Oh man that sucks. Hopefully your DH can get everything you need off of the phone.

oh no! i've gotten my phone wet twice - and was able to save it by putting it in a box/bowl/container filled w/ white rice (i made sure my phone was completely surrounded by rice - top/bottom/sides, etc) - i left it there for a while (like 24 hours!) - but the rice absorbed the water from the phone and dried it out ... be careful that dry rice doesn't get up into any holes in the phone - bc it will expand and get stuck - i had to use tweezers to get some kernels out!

anyway - maybe you could try that ?!?

Peyton stuck my phon ein the bottom of the crockpot full of water {I don't evne know for how long!!}...but I took it to the sprint store and got a new battery and all my information was still there

Ugh. Amazing how dependent we've become on our phones isn't it! I just got my new smart phone and am in love!

You know the funny thing is the water indicators are not turned. And yeah I heard about the rice thing, but I'm afraid that since we've turned it on a couple times the damage is done. Hopefully DH can retrieve my info. THIS is why we buy the insurance for me...I always break or whatever my phone and have to have it replaced almost once a year.

Just reminds me how I cannot go back to the old school phone anymore! I miss my texting and my internet!!!

Now I just need to find someone else going to Disney this next month for the Star Wars weekends. I somehow bought one boy a t-shirt and not the other and they are only available at the park not in Disney online store. Grrrrrrr!!! Anyone?

But I think it is done by the 12th of June. Not sure if they will keep the merchandise there afterward or just go to the regular Star Tours 2 stuff. I can't even find them on ebay!

Seriously kicking myself. Everyone else got a t-shirt but him. I was trying so hard to be good an not buy a whole bunch. Did end up getting my Dad a couple of shirts that I didn't plan on, but its good for Father's Day and Christmas.

Took the phone to Verizon, they said it was dead (touch screen not the whole phone). But since we had the insurance they are overnighting the new one and will be here Monday. Still doesn't help with my phone contacts I haven't saved. Oh well live and learn!

I think Tracy {Tracyfish} might have an anuual pass, but I am not sure....

Kim, I would call hollywood studios directly. They'd probably ship you one and just charge you over the phone. Explain the situation and I'm sure you can find a cast member to help you out.

Yah...I am not going until June 26th...but I agree with what Sara said...call there directly, and I am SURE someone would help you out...
