Oh Jamie (newfiemountiewife) - or Other Canadian Gals

My son has recently developed an interest in "Mounties." (I honestly don't know where he picked it up.) He talks about it all the time, but he really doesn't know anything about them. I did a search of our local library for some children's books about Mounties, but I guess it's not a really popular topic for kids in the US. There was one book about Mounted Police, but I don't think it was even necessarily the RCMP.

So, I'm wondering if any of you know of some fun kids books that would tell stories about Mounties or the history of the RCMP - maybe something we could pick up from Amazon or something. My Sean would love you forever if you could point us in the right direction. I feel a little silly asking cause I don't even really know what I'm asking for. But, I'd appreciate any help you can give.

Well I hope that Jamie will be of more help than me (since her hubby is RCMP), lol! Sad to say that I've forgotten the history of it since I was in high school, and my DD isn't in school yet...
