DH's parents are going to Nfld. with his uncle in the next few days to pick up his ex-wife's stuff as they are getting back together and she's moving back to Ottawa. Uncle is driving the moving truck & Aunt is driving her own vehicle, so they need the ILs to drive Uncle's vehicle. Uncle was going to fly them back, but then the ILs thought it'd be fun for DH & I to drive their truck up to get them. Well we couldn't find a babysitter for our girls for a week so we decided to take the girls with us and have fun while we're there and then DH and I will take the train back home (a 26 hour trip). (We chose the train rather than a plane because it's more to see and there's a 2 hour layover in Montreal) So now as long as Aunt says it's okay (yeah, just come back into the relationship and start saying what to do) then it's a go!! My FIL is going to be doing some work for Uncle for a bit after they get to Ottawa so we won't be going until July 16th until the 25th or so.
BTW, I have never been out of the Maritimes nor have I been on a plane OR a train so this is HUGE for me!
