Have you guys TRIED Bree's hybrid workshops??? I LOVE them. Even if you've never paper scrapped or tried an altered project, she provides step by step instructions that makes it SO very easy to do.
I just made her explosion box (http://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/shoppe/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2015). There were just enough spots that I could make it a "year in review" box!
I used Hello Sunshine (http://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/shoppe/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1873) by Traci & Kristin throughout the whole thing to keep it uniform.

Just had to share! I love the way it turned out! (You can check my gallery (http://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/inspiration/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=846) for full credits)

oh I was curious about the explosion box. That looks AWESOME, Libby!
Does the workshop includes templates for all the layouts?

oh got another question . . . do you put layouts on both sides of the paper?

Wow that turned out great Libby! I think it would be way fun to try one of those!

Full instructions and templates are included. Absolutely no thinking!
Layouts just go on 1 side of the paper, but in Bree's samples she printed patterned paper to go on the back sides (and outside of the box). I liked the look of the plain black cardstock though.
Really, the only thing you need to do this project is 4 sheets of 12x12 cardstock, some adhesive, various digi supplies, and this workshop. You just print your pages off, trim them up, and attach them to the cardstock (which is folded into the box).

omg LOVE the black ... I haven't had a chance to do it, printed the directions (was the lid hard?)... and LOVE the black for the outside... might have to try that also....
and nice to see that it is only 4x4... like I said read the directions, but didn't really pay attention to how big it was... perfect for the entry way table, or side table in the living room! teacher gifts w/ all the students!!! =)
can't wait to see more and get mine started!!!

Thanks so much everyone!!
Kim, nope, the lid was easy. I was nervous about it though! LOL! I just followed the instructions and used a pencil/ruler to draw out my cut/fold lines based on Bree's template. MUCH simpler than I thought it was going to be!

I'm just finishing up my CD Calendar project and now I'm going to just "have" to make this. The whole teacher with the kids in the box got me - and then of course a gift for my mom, one for my desk....Aacck! Where am I going to find the time?
Thanks for the inspiration!

Wow ladies those boxes look awesome! I wasn't brave enough to try that one, but I did to the composition book over the weekend - my very FIRST hybrid project!! (I've always done digital, from the start.) Basically just gluing and trimming, but I was still proud of myself, LOL!
I did one for myself:http://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/inspiration/data/500/medium/IMG_0718-web.jpg
And one for my best friend!

I haven't tackled my explosion box yet either, but my girls loved their composition notebooks. Matter of fact they both came home from school and asked me if I could make one for their best friends in class. LOL!
