am I rushing the season?

So... what was suppose to be light rain showers today... has turned into 4-6 inches of snow... boy, did the weather people miss this one. :D Well, I'm embracing the white yuck with listening to Christmas Music... anyone want to bet how long will it be that I'm complaining about listening to Christmas Music? hahaha!!

How is everyone else's day?
 
haha! We had snow last night, but it didn't stick around.

I've actually listened to a LITTLE bit of Christmas music to help get me in the mood to crank out these Christmas kits! Also, I'm totally lusting after the new She & Him Christmas album, so I listened to the preview of that on itunes last night. ;)
 
I love Christmas music and listen to it all year long...but come Nov 1st when Comcast turns on their Christmas Music channel it's oin in my house 24/7!! I never get tired of listening to it and I am so so sad when they turn it off in early Jan!!!
 
Do you know how jealous I am that you have snow?!! My friend in Denver had some last week and she posted photos on FB, I wasn't happy with her LOL.
 
Haha! Well, way up here in the tundra of Maine it's been 60+ degrees all week :blink::thumbup: Just can't even bring myself to decorate for Thanksgiving yet much less Christmas... been thinking more about putting my furniture back out on the deck and working on my winter tan!

But, I have started my holiday baking/freezing and I did listen to a tiny bit of Christmas music yesterday while making Mexican Hot Chocolate cookies ;)
 
YUCK!! I am glad it went north and didn't come to Chicago!! LOL You can keep the snow! We have had tons of rain the last few days and now it is super cold and windy...but I haven't seen any flurries! I am NOT ready for snow and winter. I think I want to be a bird and fly south for the winter!!
 
I am SO loyal to Thanksgiving. I LOVE Thanksgiving. SO, I don't do anything Christmas related until AFTER thanksgiving. It is just not right! :p
 
I refuse to listen to Christmas music until Black Friday LOL

after years and years of having to listen to new Christmas music since September to get ready for singing in December I would be burnt out by Halloween LOL... so now I wait!
 
Snow? Where? Please send some my way :w00t: We still have autumn / spring kinda weather over here...it was 15 degrees today and it will remain in the next few days. Wondering if we are going to have any snow here this year *sigh*
 
I don't know if anyone uses Amazon music, but they have tons of Christmas cds for only 5 dollars each. I am not sure how long that sale is going to go on, but thought I would share.
 
We got about 4 inches...but it's melting! Yay!

I'm not listening to Christmas music though :) after thanksgiving!

That is the CD I'm listening too... it is awesome!!! I got it at Best Buy the other day, I usually get one new Christmas CD... it's just perfect... so I haven't mind listening to it... and I haven't been tempted to pull up the holiday decor. LOL!!

Yuck... I'm just not excited about this snow... sorry - it's too soon!! And it's that really wet snow that they call heart attack snow... Our snowtires aren't on the car yet since it has been in the 50's... and the snowblower is still buried behind the lawnmowers... ugh. But it is suppose to be back in the 50's this weekend... so, buh-bye snow.... *sigh* it is pretty though, clinging on the branches...
 
We had snow 2 days this past weekend (which DH got called in to work for, so we didn't actually have a weekend). It's just cold & mostly dry now. Christmas music comes on after Thanksgiving here, when we get the tree & put it up, which I'm going to convince the DH needs to be early since he'll be going to graveyards with Th/Fr off, starting Thanksgiving weekend.
