Nov 10: 30 Days of Thanks

Day 10: Today I am thankful for my sweet, beautiful girl who is learning to make good decisions even when it's not easy.

Today I am thankful for the United States Marine Corps for its 236 years of service (today is the birthday of the USMC). I thank every Marine for their service, especially my late husband and our son.

Day 10: Today I am thankful for my son, Landon. He is the first child that made me a mommy and he makes my day interesting every single day. He is never short on words of affirmation - always telling us he loves us, tells me when I do a good job, ect. AND, he is the funniest kid I know. He always shocks me with his humor. I ♥ him!!!!

i'm thankful for my wonderful best friend who came over last night with her kids and helped me work on pack up my house. She is amazing and I am so blessed to have her!

Day 10: Today I am thankful for the mesh pacifier thing Kennedy. We put all kinds of stuff in it, but today we are doing ice since I believe we have another tooth coming in.

Today, I am thankful for music and the option to listen Sirius XM online at work. Music makes me happy and truly makes a long workday go by so much faster.

Today I'm thankful for music...it always puts me in a good mood, makes me want to move and takes me back to different places in my life.

I'm so thankful for my little girl. She is my miracle baby and I can't believe she's actually mine! She makes me smile so often and she really has a good heart, telling me she loves me all the time. She makes us so happy!

I'm thankful that life finally feels like it's getting back to something resembling "normal."

Today I am thankful that we have people that are willing to lay down their lives for our freedom. Thank you to everyone I know that has been in military service or been a military spouse. And Happy Birthday Marines. :)

Today, I am thankful for a mother who lets me talk to her about my big decisions, and really consider the big things. She is pretty much my rock, and she helps me decide the best directions for my life, and work through what I'm doing now. It's just really nice having her around.

Today I am so thankful for the good school district we live in! For the excellent teachers my kids are lucky to get year after year. I'm thankful that teachers care about my kids just as much as I do and realizing that even the kids who are above average still need one on one time with them and they gladly give it! Education is a priceless thing and I'm so thankful my kids are receiving a quantity one!!

Today I am thankful for jazzercise. I love it. It's so much a part of my life now, I don't even question it. I remember when I used to have to FORCE myself to exercise, and I would listen to other people say things like - "You just have to find something you love to do!" I thought that was such a crock, like who actually likes to exercise?? Now, I understand :)

Today I am thankful I can work part-time at the gym and take care of dd's all-star cheer expenses. Looooove not writing checks for tuition, extra classes, camp, choreography, uniform, competition fees etc etc etc and I have fun working with people I really really really like! :)

Today I am Thankful for being home so I could take care of Mr Mason while he gets over his stomach bug and so far none of the other kiddos have got it.

It's technically the 11th, but since I haven't gone to sleep yet I declare the day not yet over. Today I'm thankful that we were able to sit down with DS's teachers and have a productive meeting that ended with all of us in agreement on what would be best for him.

I am thankful for my son and his fiance coming over to stay for the first time since he moved out in May xx Just like the old days, all my kids home!
