I just realized that tomorrow is 11-11-11. Anyone planning something fun or unique to "celebrate?" Other than doing the whole "take a picture at 1:11" thing, I'm drawing a blank!

Nothing special here...although we have a wedding to attend to tomorrow, but other then that, nothing!

Tomorrow is also Veteran's Day, so I will be calling my dad who served 30 years in the Navy. But beyond that, I hadn't thought of anything. I should do something because that seems like such a fun date. :) I'd love to hear other's plans!

For us it is Veteran's day first and foremost and it's a day of memories for my daughter, son, and I. We spend the day together as a family and remember my DH and his service but also remember him as a wonderful dad and husband. Cheyanne never got to know him as she was 2 when he died, so we try to bring our memories alive. She always has a list of questions about him that she asks - funny things, serious things. We'll also be having lunch at the VA Hospital. The fact that it's 11-11-11 is kind of "neat" but if there are photos, it will be incidental that they are taken on 11-11-11.

Yep, we'll be celebrating Veterans Day here since Jeff served 20 years in the Air Force. He's very much looking forward to the freebies. LOL

We are doing family pictures!!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!! Very exciting because we have NEVER done on location pictures as a family. EEEKKKK!!!! Then, we will be doing some Veterans day stuff. (My hubby and all the in law men in my life are/were part of the service)

I really do need to document 11-11-11 though. I will search for some ideas and if I find anything good, I will link here. :)

It's Remembrance Day here in the UK so at 11:00AM we'll be having a 2 minute silence to remember everyone who has fought and lost their lives for our country.

I will be photographing a Senior portrait session, out of town, down a beautiful river, hopefully I'll get to do some 'me shooting' before/after. It's also my favorite aunt/best friend/like a mom to me's birthday. We will give our thanks to the Veterans.

Mostly we'll be traveling to/from the session (it's an hour and half drive there).

Wow, it's awesome that so many of us have vets in our lives! My FIL is a 30-year Air Force veteran. :)

Found this on Pinterest, and it seems like a great way to spend the day!

my daughter's wedding ceremony tomorrow. She actually already got married but is having the official ceremony tomorrow. After the wedding we will go to the reception. Other then that no plans

It is my DH's birthday :)

My big plans are taking my daughter to the orthopedic doctor, to get her cast replaced. ick

one things for sure it will make it really easy for them to remember their anniversary :)

I think it would be cool to be married on 11-12-2013

I'm shopping in Chicago with my two best friends. LOL It has nothing to do with 11-11-11 or Veteran's Day, though. I did leave a bunch of Veteran's Day activities for my sub at school! :) And I love the idea of taking a pic at 1:11 tomorrow with my best girls. :)

A coworker was telling us at lunch today that she's going to a "ONEce in a lifetime party." They were supposed to bring 1 appetizer and 11 canned goods for the food pantry. It lasts from 7:11- 11:11. They're going to play Uno... and there were other things but she couldn't remember. I thought that was fun & creative!

We aren't really doing anything for Remembrance Day but my ILs and niece are coming up from the city for the afternoon. At least my house will be a little cleaner at the end of the day as my MIL can't help but do it when she comes. LOL

It's supposed to POUR all day tomorrow too...we have a rainfall warning in effect!

that's a fun idea! I think I'll plan a family game night around playing Uno and eating pizza breadsticks (shaped like 1s of course), followed by going to a high school football game where 11 guys will face off with another 11 guys on the gridiron! :)

I'm working and I just realized since I got one of the guys to come in early for me today, I am working 11 hours tomorrow. :p

You bet I have something FUN planned!!! I drove down to Oklahoma to spend the weekend with my bff, Stacy, and we are going shopping!!! I rarely go shopping "for fun" ... and no, technically it isn't FOR 11-11-11 ... just by coincidence it is on that day. LOL Just glad I am here!!

Too late!.....
I didn't think of this at all! What kind of scrapper am I?
We both had the day off today and we spent it together.

Yeah - I had my reminder all set, and then my phone was in my purse and I didn't here it go off. Bleh! Missed it!

hee hee... I moved the clock ahead by three minutes to get the 11:11 because I was stopped at a red light and I didn't want to chance taking a photo and driving at the same time... *shhh* ;) Explain that one to the cop and insurance... bwahahhaha
