10,080 Slip In Adjustment to fit A4

Hi,

I am from Australia and it is hard to find 8.5x11 photo paper and printers that will print. I was wondering if anyone had any success in manipulating Traci Reeds Slip In's to fit an A4 page fully so that it doesn't look cropped.

Thanks for any help or tips you might suggest. I have just printed it in "size to fit" in Photoshop and I love the complete look except the gaps at the top and bottom. :(

What are the dimensions of an A4 page? I remember them being fairly close in size to an 8.5x11 page. If that's the case, you can probably just stretch the slip ins to fit. Layer all the pieces, select them all, then resize without keeping the aspect ratio constant. (If that doesn't make sense, tell us what program you're using and someone should be able to give you exact directions.) Once you've got the slip ins sized correctly, just fill as usual.

Another option is to use the slip ins for part of the page. Here's an example of a layout I did like that.

Good luck! I know how frustrating it is to scrap in a shape other than the most common.

Thanks for the idea Rachel.

The dimensions for an A4 are 210x297mm or 11.7 x 8.3 in (so not a great deal of difference, but just enough for the perfectionist in me..lol)

I think I am going to have to learn how to do this myself..Oh well that's not always a bad thing..lol..

Okay I didn't learn how to do it. I just resized without using the aspect and designed a page and printed and it doesn't look too bad. So in the end solved the problem. Now on to mass creating for my daughters first year... she is 6 months old now and just started.
