Day 18 : 30 Days of Thanksgiving

I am thankful for my mom. She went above the call of duty yesterday with a long afternoon and evening with the kids. We took a lot longer than planned in court and she stayed with the kids, fed them dinner, cleaned some dishes and even folded my laundry!!! I know she was exhausted but I really do appreciate her being here. And I REALLY hope I will be able to get her to babysit again in the future after all of that! LOL
 
I swear I started the thread this morning :confused: I remember writing about being thankful on this sneak peek friday....wonder if I hit preview instead of submit then "closed" the preview window!! :huh:

Day 18: Today I am thankful to have been raised by amazing, loving parents who always tried to teach me right from wrong and who have been there for me no matter what. Miss my Daddy every day but am grateful to still have my Momma!
 
Today I am Thankful that I'm staying at home so I can run out to my dh's aide when needed.
 
Today I'm thankful for the internet and google!! It's so nice to just look up anything and everything I want! It's nice to do it when I need to know something serious and it nice for when I just want to know something fun! I don't really know how I survived before these glorious inventions, but I'm so glad I don't have to live without them now!!! :D :D
 
I'm thankful for good friends. If you have done any of the following for us this year, I'm talking about you: brought us dinner, watched our kids in our home, invited our kids to play in your home, made us bread or cookies, drove our children to school, gave a hug, wrote a note, made a phone call, visited us in the hospital, prayed for us. We would never have survived this year without good friends.
 
today I'm thankful for the ability to say no when something is inconvenient and I just can't do it. It took me 34 yrs but I think I've finally mastered it.
 
Day 18 - I'm thankful for modern medicine miracles - today was my post-op checkup, and thankfully I have come through it ok. And I am definately thankful to not have a gall bladder anymore!!!
