Nov 22: 30 Days of Thanks

Today I'm thankful for my amazing mom and dad. They were married 44 years ago today. They have been a powerful example to me of what can happen when you persevere through the tough times in life. Their life today is the kind of life I want to have with my husband someday. And, it didn't come easy. They are my heroes.

Today I am thankful for a baby boy that decided to give me a break and sleep in a little bit. We are off to a GREAT start of the day!

Today I am thankful for my little bundle of energy, my son. He is a joy, and sooooo very sweet. He is loving and caring and always willing to jump to his sister's defense (when they aren't fighting). I love you bubba. ♥

I'm thankful for my hubby...the birthday boy today...who doesn't remind too often that he'll always be younger than me.

Today I am thankful I am not a hoarder. (If you have never seen Hoarders on A&E, it's worth checking out. You will feel so much better about the state of your own house!) While I'm sure that everyone who knows me would agree I'm more likely to turn into superman than a hoarder, I'm certain that no one ever thinks they will get to that point.

Today, I am thankful for family dinners. This evening hubby and I are headed to my parents for Mexican food with my parents, grandpa, and almost all my siblings.

Day 22: Today, I am thankful for my daughter's school and all the wonderful teachers, administrators, students, and parents that make it amazing.

Today I am Thankful for Starbucks I needed my fix from the stress of the day and went with Gingerbread latte ;)

Today I'm thankful for AWESOME insurance and the many many wonderful doctors it allows me to have access too! It's so refreshing to call a health care professional and have an appointment within 24 hours! Not only for those big scary emergency things but also those simple maintenance things like: dental cleanings and toe nail care/health!!

Day 22 - I am thankful for the fact that I have a job . . even though it is really really hard to put up with things (and people!) sometimes, I have to remind myself how lucky I am to actually have a job when there is such high unemployment in the place I live
