i am going to cry.

I make these cookies ALL the time, and as suggested in my thanksgiving thread-- i decided to go with something i know how to make and am good at.

five minutes in my oven and they were burned. five minutes. how does that freaking happen?! my oven is possessed .. and now im trying to decide if i want to even try again. 2 dozen cookies down the pooper. (they were half burned. and half uncooked. there was no salvaging those crappers. if i kept them in longer i'm pretty sure they would have turned to charcoal.)
 
oh lauren. :( sounds like your oven is running hot. i know how nervous you are. it's all going ot be okay whether you bring cookies or not. and look at it this way you have a story to tell!

I made another batch w/ a different recipe and they turned out perfect.

*phew*

(so perfect in fact that ce just ate 3 of my 24 cookies... :blink: )
