I use Lightroom for my photo editing-but I will mess around with some of those tools and see what I can do.Photo Editing, I'd love to know how to use Julie's new paint backgrounds, extraction (i am pretty sure the way I do it is not the best way), how to best use the make over tools. Those are the ones I thought of right away.
I'm trying to conceptualize this, do you mean adding a stroke to a brush? Or do you mean converting a brush to a text path?Someone said that other day that I should do one about using a brush to add a stroke to a path . . . doing text on a path would be very similar but different in some ways, too.

Here is the extraction technique I use. You don't have to use a layer mask, but I like the flexibility it offers. Mari, I used to use PSP and it's fairly similar in that program. If I remember correctly, there is a similar tool that you can use. When I first converted to PS, I actually preferred PSP for extractions.
