Has died. At 48! Can you believe it! It's just so sad . . . so much talent gone to waste. I loved her back in the day when she was happy and healthy. So sad.
 
Def sad..saw it on tv a few mins ago as breaking new....

Sad her life had gone back to drugs recently so I can only imagine how messed up she was
 
I just heard it on the radio 5 seconds ago. Hard to believe she's gone. I loved her singing. Hubby and I watched The Bodyguard on our first date. :(
 
Saw it on yahoo and then turned on the TV. I'm still in shock. But a life of drugs and alcohol will do that to you. Such a great talent gone too soon.

Was just thinking . . . the Grammy's are tomorrow night. I wonder if they'll try to throw together some sort of tribute or something. I'm sure she'll be mentioned. The world will miss her.
 
What a tragic waste. I remember when she modeled in Teen Magazine before becoming a singer. Both beautiful and talented. Makes me wonder what drives people to waste their lives on drugs. So sad.

she was supposed to sing tonight @ Clive's pre-grammy party too
 
DH said he read there are rumors that she went on a drinking binge this past week.

It is very sad. I loved her music too. :(
 
Soooo very sad. I remember when I was in 6th grade my best friend and I used to sing our hearts out to all of her songs...she was supposed to be our very first concert, but she cancelled...we were so sad about it. So sad that she couldn't beat her addiction. :(
 
I just woke up with the news. My hubby and I watched the Bodyguard just the other week on television again....beautiful voice. And I was a big fan in my teens too.....I sang her songs all day long.
Just can't believe it.....although with all the news about drugs and things I expected this sooner though.

RIP Whitney.
 
So sad, I woke up not long ago and found out when I checked the news. Addiction is an evil thing :(
 
oh this is so sad. She had the voice of an angel. In my mind I can so hear her voice singing "One Moment in Time" right now.
