Okay - don't call me a dork (hush up, Tara)

Today - Alton Brown (our family celebrity crush) had this question on his twitter account:

Tweeter: What do I make for Valentine's Dinner?

Alton:
"Love...sweet, deep, slow love. And some chocolate wouldn't hurt."

I laughed and thought - AH HA!

So, I messaged Russ while he was away at a meeting:
"Hon, Alton just told me what you need to make me for Valentines Day"

Him:
umm..okay?

Me:
I copied the answer Alton gave

His reply:
Valentine's sweets, you forgot the '. On the way home - love you. bye

Yeah - I don't quite think he got the point.

HA~! Wishful thinking, Heather, but he knew the *cough*hack*wheeze* was waiting for him.

No..he just totally didn't get the point. I rubbed it in when he got home, though, so hopefully, for our delayed V-day this weekend...he might remember :D

DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!

I am thinking that your hubby is a bigger dork though. Wow. Never thought anyone would take away your reign of top dork. He totally did. At least for tonight. :P

LOL That kinda sounds like something my hubs would say...so I guess he's possibly as big a dork as yours?

This is tooooo funny!! :) (PS: I love Alton and am so disappointed Good Eats is over... he is partially responsible for getting me interested in cooking. His show was so unique... and now I am totally over-using these parenthesis...) Hmmm.... Perhaps the fact that you have "bird flu" or "ebola" (as you mentioned in another thread) was why your DH's mind didn't go there??? LOL!!!

Oh Darcy, that is too funny.

My husband sent me the following forward last night- "No women will ever truly be happy on Valentines Day because no man has a chocolate covered *enis that ejaculates dollar bills!"

I responded, "Aint that the truth." lol. :D

If I would have sent that text to my husband he would have left work right then and there and been at the door in breakneck speed...seriously-
Love your story D!

Same here! My hubby will take even the slightest suggestion and run with it, whether I mean it as a suggestion or not. :p :D
