Kit suggestions, please.

Okay. I have one last layout to do to finish the album of Ian's first year. Since he turns seven in just a few months, I'm pretty excited to finally have it finished. LOL.

These are the last pics that I need to scrap (just a screenshot). I love them so much! I've actually scrapped them before, but I've never been completely happy with the outcome, and since I love the photos so much, I really want to love the layout. So, any kit suggestions?

The first one that came to mind for me was Recess by Heather Roselli, but it must be retired cause it is not in the shop.

Here is a playground themed one:

Congrats on getting your album finished, finally! I'm looking forward to that day as well.. and believe me - it's a long way off! ;) What about one of these?

Thanks gals! These are all great suggestions. I'm considering all of them. I think I need to sketch out the layout first so that I know what kind of elements I really want. Then, I'll come back and think some more. :) If anyone has more suggestions, keep 'em coming!

And, Elizabeth - yes, he is such a doll. He has a very expressive face, even now, and his shiny eyes and sweet smile just light up my life. He is a sweet kid, for sure.

Just thought I'd post the completed layout here. I realized that this kit by Julie and Eva was perfect, and I already had it in my "To Use" folder. So, yay! I love the way it turned out. :) And, now Ian's 1st year pages are all done and ready to print - just in time to take advantage of the Pernickety sale!!! Woot!

Turned out amazing!!! Congrats on completing the album  I'm such a random scrapper, I don't even want to know how much I have left for any of the girls' 6 years so far....

I'm a completely random scrapper too. That's why it has taken me this long to get his first year done. I do an album for each kid's first year. After that, everything all goes together by calendar year. And, I just use ring binders for those albums so I can print what I have and add it to the album anytime I want. That way I don't have the stress of "finishing" an album before I can print it.

I agree with Julie, an absolutely perfect choice! That page is too cute for words. :)
