So, who has gotten pregnant after having a tubal?

A week from today will be my 4 year anniversary of having my tubes tied and well, I took 2 pregnancy tests today and guess what, they were both positive.

I hadn't been feeling very good, my boobs were sore and my period should have shown up last week. Ugh!

And, I'm not saying anything on Facebook until I find out for sure on March 9th.

Oh my Vanessa!! I thought I was pregnant a few times even though I had my tubal in 2005, but no positives. I've heard people get pregnant after them though and even when their partner has had a vasectomy as well!

Good luck to you and congratulations!

Wow!!!! I'd say someone really wants you to have another baby!
Good luck hon and congrats.. let us know about your appointment!!

LOL! Is right!

Seriously I go from laughing to crying.

Yes, its meant to be I guess, I looked at a due date calculator and well Oct. 27ish is the estimate. I don't know exactly when my last period was. This is crazy!

I'd NEVER depend on a tubal 100% after a year or two...tubes can reconnect or reform as time goes on. I imagine the chances of pregnancy though are probably greater depending on how fertile you were beforehand. Did you get preg with K or C easily?

Keira took like 4 months.

I had 3 miscarriages before I got pregnant w/ Cooper, but it was pretty easy. When they found out I need progestorne to carry, I got pregnant w/ Cooper right away.

O.M.G. This was definitely meant to be!!!

Congrats and best of luck!! I hope you have a healthy and happy 9 months!!!

Id probably die of shock LOL. I have had a few times where I missed a period and wondered what if but it never happened to me.

Congratulations to you though!! It was obviously meant to be :)

You must be so shocked! My sister in law got pregnant after her tubal and went through a whole range of emotions. Congratulations.

Wow is right! Congrats once you get over the shock! :)

**I would also say that the water here at SSD is especially potent these days and I'm worried about an immaculate conception being possible! :w00t:

WOW Hello!!!! I am super happy for you....

I do know that the chance of ectopic pregnancies are very high after a tubal so please be very careful and get evaluated right away! (common dinner conversation when one of your sisters is a midwife)

OH my good glory - as someone who had a tubal last week during my c-section, this post scares the daylights out of me (esp since I got pg on the pill this time! LOL)

At any rate, babies are ALWAYS a blessing, so congrats!!!!!!!

This! And congrats? lol I would be up and down the emotional roller coaster, too. I hope you have a healthy pregnancy. {{hugs}}

Wow!! Vanessa, I can only imagine all the thoughts and emotions running through you right now! Best of luck and hopefully everything works out perfectly! (and congrats...)

Oh and just an FYI my niece just found out she is pregnant...she had Mirena (sp?). She was shocked I am sure. It is her fourth child.

Well I'd say it's meant to be. But I would definitely get an appointment asap to have everything checked over.

Congrats!

Kennedy is a BC baby. Plus I had my odds stacked against me medically too.

Congrats!! I can't imagine what a shock that must be. I do agree with some of the others, ectopic can be an issue here. If you start having any kind of pain please get seen right away.
