And imagine the kit they go with while taking them? LMAO!

I was taking pics this morning of my youngest son's first experience with cereal... so cute! And the whole time I'm thinking... okay, he's wearing red, so what will this go with?

Please tell me I'm not the only one! LOL

Jac, please know this. Every photo Tony takes, I try to figure out what kit I'm going to use.

I got Kristin's and Jen's Luckiest Girl (I'm on Jen's CT) and I knew right away, that in 2005 I had some pics of Amelia with her St. Patrick's day t-shirt LOL! Guess what I'm scrapping right now LOL

It does get worse, you'll buy the kit first, and THEN you'll take the pics to match.

I totally do that. I NEVER bought girly kits before and now that I have my niece over here everyday I am spending way too much on those cute things....I have totally bought kits based on a group of photos before though for sure!!!!

LOL! Yes!! I've even gone so far as to show a picture of some pants to a designer and ask for a kit to go with them. (I got it too...check out Heather's "Be Happy" kit. it's loosely based on my sons' PJs)

oh I've so done that. I have actually gotten a kit and then dressed my kids in clothes to match the kit.

I'm really careful that my kids don't wear the same outfit to two different occasions... otherwise all my layouts look the same. My ds once wore the same shirt to a bowling party as he did for a school function. ARGH!

Guilty as sin!! :D

And Val, I also am conscious of that when we go out. Usually, I try to have my kids in coordinating colors too, just in case I can have them together in a picture! LOL

Oh I'm so glad I'm not the only one!

And I'm also very careful about them wearing the same things in photos! Which is incredibly hard with my 3.5 yr old because he's on a kick where he will ONLY wear jeans and white t-shirts... he's lucky I have a LOT of blue kits!

LOL Karen! I'm usually trying to get mine in some photos... I think I only have a handful of good pics of him in the 8 years that we've been together. He either ducks out of photos or makes goofy faces (and gets the kids to do it with him!)

yeah its pretty sad.. when i go clothes shopping i think about kits.. lily's vday dress this year is so patterned and now i don't know how to scrap the photos cause i can't think of what to use for a kit so they don't clash.. LOL

Yep. I have taken photos to go with certain kits. I also coordinate my girls clothes so they will look nice together in photos.... but I have an obsession with matching so I probably would even if I didn't scrap. lol

Oh my goodness :p I've had that feeling quite often! I didn't get into scrapping until my youngest was over 6 months old...and I didn't get my dSLR until my youngest was probably almost 18 months old!

But...I always found it more interesting when they could move, walk and talk anyhow. When they are a newborn...I didn't really like the bibs (DD1 wore bibs, DD2 didn't need to) that were on all waken moment and the colorful toys that they sit in lol. So who knows if I would really like those photos?

I always try to dress them in different outfits, Rae had a Harley Davidson t shirt that she LOVES, so my mom bought her an identical one for Christmas. She wears them every.single.day. I have to wash them every day, so each day, at least one of them is clean. Geesh, kids. There's only so much that goes with a white, glittery Harley shirt!

I keep thinking that if I ever have a little girl, after three boys, I may break the bank on girly kits. Right now I restrain myself because I have no big use for them but there are TONS that I drool over!
