Question about challenges!

So I think I'm gonna try to get some points this month for a discount... not sure if I can get 25 or not, but hopefully 10 anyways!

So I'm wondering, can we combine challenges? For example, can I do a Spin-A-Lift, using the word "grow" (from the One Word Challenge) for Taste Test Thursday, with the LO being about a bittersweet memory (Sugar Free #4), and use a new kit, for a total of 5 points for 1 LO? LOL!!

I really want that discount, but don't have a whole heck of a lot of time to scrap (I usually only get about 2-3 done per month)... if the answer is no, I won't cry (too much, lol).

Oh, and also, on the From Our Blog 2 Yours challenge. I don't have a blog.... I still get the points if I post in the comments right?

I know that you can't combine... on the blog I'm 99% sure it's ok to just post a comment if you don't have a bloggie :)

well, even if you can't combine the challenges here you could always try to combine with a challenge from another site/blog since many offer a prize or a chance at a prize. so maybe you could win something somewhere :)

Thanks for posting this - I knew we couldn't combine, but I had NO idea I could participate in OurBlog2Yours without a blog!!! I hadn't even looked at that challenge because so far I'm blogless. :) But now I'll definetly take those in! This is my first month trying to earn points too...I'm already at 10! It's so much fun!

It's my first month too, and I usually don't have much time to scrap during the school year, but these challenge have really got me going this month. I have 20 points already. The 25 sounds overwhelming, but with new products and all the little extra ways to earn points, it's really not hard to rack up those points.

OKAY... I have another question!!!

So I CAN'T combine anything at all? Or just not a bunch of challenges? For example, may I do a LO for a particular challenge & use a new product from the store for 2 points (1 pt for challenge & 1 pt for product)? Or is it a) do a LO for 1 point and b) use a new kit on a non-challenge LO for 1 point?

Sorry for all the questions... I just want to make sure I do it right!

You can absolutely combine new product with a challenge for two points. You can't combine challenges though.

Hey, I figured if I'm going to go...go big, right? I have a mile-long wish list, plus Uncle Sam is sucking us dry this week, so I REALLY need that discount.
