Never go do grociers 9 months pregnant and hungry

I just spent over 200 bucks and pretty sure I only got TWO things off my list...I am sooo hungry!! lol
 
Haha - Whoa! But you have 5 other mouths to feed!! And you're eating for 2 so $200 for 6 people isn't bad, right?
 
Yeah it's never a good thing to shop when you're hungry, 9 months pregnant or not! Hope you got some good snacks at least!!
 
this was just a grocery run though..not a true shop!! lol

um yeah plenty of snacks, pretzels, chips, bread??, fruit..lol

nothing for dinner tonite though
 
yeah um never go when you are hungry - that is a steadfast rule to know that you will definitely come out with way more than you intended!
 
well I WASN'T hungry when I left..but by the time I got there I was famished lmbo or so my body thought so!!
 
That's why I make my DH do the shopping. When I go, I come home with stuff like Cap'n Crunch and PopTarts (yes, I have sophisticated snacking tastes! LOL). He buys junk food too, but not usually "my" kind of junk food, so it's not so bad.
 
Oh I think I always average that with 6 of us here. I have learned hard lessons to not go while starving LOL I get home and find junk instead of meals LOL
 
LOL I dont even go now when im not pregnant LOL!! I eat like a pregnant woman though (I will blame it on nursing) thats technically eating for two right LOL!
 
LOL that's why I don't go very often, I'm always hungry. I make a list, give it to Tony and he goes and gets what is on the list. If I go, I just leave the note in my pocket and buy whatever I feel like LOL
 
oh gosh my husband has no concept of tracking $$$ or following lists...

and that is about avg for me too on a true grocery trip..this was a "run to the store for bread" type thing lol...
 
That is the exact reason I hate grocery shopping and going to Target, Wal-Mart or Costco to get "household necessities". I spend WAAAAYYYYY too much money!
 
Umm, you mean pretzels, chips, bread and fruit don't qualify as dinner? Man, I thought I'd been doing it right all this time! ;)
 
My husband does way better at the grocery than me. He gets what's on the list and that's it. I of course go down every isle just in case they have a deal.
 
I went to the store this afternoon while the hospice nurse was here looking at my grandma. I easily dropped $230 and only got five things on my list. LOL

That's what I keep telling myself, but my belly makes it look like I'm eating for THREE. :(
