In most cases, you can just double click on the name of the smiley. If that doesn't work, click on the second thingy in the menu bar, it's a larger window with a magnifying glass. That will open a new page, from there you can right click, copy the image location link and paste it here using the [img] code.

Have you checked the settings? It's the blue arrow next to the smiley in the tool bar. My settings have it going directly into the last selected text area.

Also, Smiley Xtra simply doesn't work at some places. I cannot get it to work at DST at all, I have to do the second option from my first post for that board.

My setting is that but I do not see a blue arrow...could this be a VISTA thing?

Christine, I am using Vista and I have an arrow drop down feature - when you click the smiley's button up top and it opens the section on the side of the browser, just make sure you expand it over as far as you can.
I still haven't figured out how to make it work though either. lol

Ok, I got it to work. Click on the icon on the toolbar, it opes a side bar with the choose a smiley option, select one, click where you want the message to go in your reply, then click the 3rd little icon over on the top of the side bar. If you hover over it it should say "insert forum code". The catch seems to be for me to click on the choose a smiley option, then click on where you want it to go and then click on the icon. If I don't do it in that order, it won't work.
