The Kodak 5500 4 in 1 printer.

I love it.

Seriously, love it!

I had a terrific HP 4 in 1 printer, but I was so sick of paying a premium for ink. I bought this new guy for one reason only, cheap ink. Let me tell you. The prints are AMAZING. The scan feature is AMAZING and EASY. I place my pictures on the glass, hit a button and it sends them straight into PS AND saves them automatically on my computer.
 
So the scanner is awesome!

I fill the scanner glass with photos, press the scan button, it scans the whole lot of photos, cuts them apart, saves them automatically, and opens them in photoshop (or not). I've been scanning like crazy since it's SOOOO easy!!!
 
Oh that sounds awesome! I have an HP 4 in 1 and it's starting to make me mad. First of all, it's not very compatible with Vista, so we have to keep updating these drivers or whatever to keep it communicating with the printer. And all of a sudden it will NOT take glossy photo paper. I've tried everything from cleaning the heads to the rollers, nothing works. and the ink... so expensive! I've tried using refilled cartiridges, but they're dodgy in quality. Last one was horrible.

Wow, this sounds great! I'm in the market for a printer so I can do some hybrid projects this summer. Right now I just send my LOs out to be printed, but it would be nice to be able to print some of my smaller projects right away.
 
I can do better than the gov't rebate. On Friday I got a retroactive paycheck for the contract we just settled AND I got my kids' snack bar deposit back!!! Woooohooo!!!
