The movie Speed Racer...

Has anyone seen it yet or are you planning to take your kids to it? My son is 5 1/2 and really wants to see it, but I just don't know if it is age appropriate. There has been quite a few movies lately that turn out differently than the previews. I know at one time someone had posted a link to a parental movie type of thing, but I can't remember what it is. What do you guys think?
