Diet Schmiet!!

Well... I had real big plans of getting back on WW today after being so off-track for about 2 months now (even tho I still pay the monthly fee). I was so good all through the holidays and then even afterwards and was almost at the 20 lbs. lost point which was just so awesome... And then... dun-dun-dun... Easter came. For some reason I got smacked in the face by the bunny and any chance of points being counted went right out the window!

So, I was like, I am going to enjoy my mom's day and then start fresh on Monday morning! I guess the joke was on me because I ate about 87 Russel Stover's throughout the course of the day and about 907 sour cream & onion chips... ya know the really good ones with the ridges and lotsa salty powder!! WHY IS THIS STUFF EVEN IN THE HOUSE??

I didn't help that I was stressed all day due to my 19 month old being sick and trekking her to the dr in a monsoon, to be told that she might have strep but we won't find out until tomorrow... and they will call me if she does have otherwise they won't. I hate waiting like this when I know they have quick strep tests out there and if she does have she could have started her antibiotics today! BUT no, apparently our Pedi is in the freakin' stone ages... That is what I get for having a Pedi who calls himself Dr. Howie (which is so not his real name).

Ok, I think I am done rambling now... sorry for the huge vent but I needed to let it out... and hopefully I can get my hubby to take all the crap to work tomorrow... that is if I don't devour all the goodness of it tonight!!

sorry your little one is not feeling well

diet is just die with a t (i think I am quoting Garfield?)

funny you should post this though. I was going to walk on the treadmill today. but now I think I'll do it tomorrow

not sure about a quick strep test..but I know when our dr does a culture, she just gives me the rx and calls me the next day if i have to fill it. I've never had a strep test the same day

I hope your little feels better soon!! :)

I was trying to get back on track today. I was doing good too. . . Until my kids got a snack this afternoon. My son picked snoballs from the gas station. But then neither of them liked them .... so I had 4

I have two friends who told me that their docs do the quick test and you find out before you leave the office... I hope she doesn't have it either.... thanks!!!

Mimi... we can swap... my candy & chips for your treadmill!! LOL

I'm supposed to be on it too.
A few years ago I lost 30 lbs with it. I felt and looked AWESOME! I was a skinny mini.
Then I went to college and gained a whole LOT. I'm at my heaviest now and supposed to be on WW with a friend. She doesnt know I've totally trashed my diet last week.
I vowed to get back on tomorrow morning because 2, 20 oz. Dr. Peppers and a Route 44 Vanilla Coke from Sonic just isn't good for the ol' hips.

I hope she feels better soon!

I always find that making myself stick to my plan the first day is the hardest. When we go away or life stresses me out and I eat badly, it usually takes several days of trying to actually get back on track. For example, the last few days I did well at breakfast and sometimes lunch, then I stopped tracking what I'd eaten and gave into things I shouldn't. Finally today I'm back to following my plan all day. So don't get discouraged about today--keep trying, and you'll get back on track!

I was suppose to get back on track today after a rough weekend, but I forgot to throw away the rest of the ice cream cake we got from cold stone last night, so guess what my breakfast was. LOL!

Better luck tomorrow.
