I found out my wedding dress has torn!

I'm getting married in two weeks and I tried my wedding dress on one more time before my wedding and I found out some how i got a tear in the back! :eek:

does anyone know how long it takes to sew up a wedding dress?

do you think they will keep coming out if i just leave them?

I have 4 layers that are all sewn together! and about 5 stitches are out.

Luckily my wedding is a beach wedding and not too many people there.

:( Maybe I should have checked earlier i guess lol!!
 
Do you know any seamstresses in your area? I'd take it to one right away, they should be able to fix you up pretty quickly! :) I had a few alterations done on my dress and it didn't take her long AT ALL. Hope this isn't too stressful for you and it's resolved quickly- have a BEAUTIFUL wedding!
 
oh NO! did you catch it on something?
i'd take it to a tailor immediately. you don't want more stitches coming out. once one comes out, it'll unravel quickly.

If you bought it from a bridal shop, they should fix it for you - when I bought mine I remember the lady that owned the shop telling me that they often had to do last minute adjustments, even taking in or out dresses due to weight changes. I'd think they'd be prepared for jsut about anything!
 
I think the seamstress or bridal shop where you got it will be able to help you in no time. Good luck! And can I just say I'm sooo envious of you I'd love a beach wedding! I wish all these ideas came to me 20 years ago! LOL! I hope you have a wonderful wedding!
 
I am sure it will be a quick fix honey. Sorry you have to deal with so much stress though so soon before your wedding honey. I know planning a wedding is stress all in its own, hugs and congrats!
 
oh hon! I agree take it to the bridal shop or a seamstress and they should fix it right up! Congrats on the wedding and have a good time! I was married on the beach in Panama City Beach, FL (barefoot and all) and LOVED it!!!
