Yahoo DOES do screenshots! It's quick and easy!

Someone posted at DST and I tried it with Sarah (my3hens)...works like a charm and way quick, plus it shows up next to your chat, just like in Hello!

When you are in an IM with someone, click on the PHOTOS button to begin photo sharing, then CTRL+Printscreen will take a snapshot of your screen. You will then select the option to share the photos from your CLIPBOARD!!

ALT+Printscreen will take a snapshot of your window (without the extra stuff in the background) just like Hello! Again, share from your clipboard.

ETA: This doesn't work if you use Qnext or Trillian to log into Yahoo.

Oh cool! My new computer should be here tomorrow and I'll have to load Yahoo & MSN on there so I can try them both out! I don't want to load anything else on this laptop and then have to turn around and delete it all back off so I can give it back to Rob.
 
Still won't work for Macs, and it won't work if you're not all using the same version.

Honestly, I think the Jing Project is the best route, it takes 2 seconds and is multi-platform, multi-IM program...

I'm thinking, though, that I'm just not seeing what the big deal is about screenshots. I mean, I use them sure, but my life doesn't depend on them. LOL!
 
Bree I hear ya. I lived without screenshots before, and damnit, I'll do it again. Ppl will just have to wait until I'm finished to see my masterpieces :p

I really don't want to have to stab myself in the eye.
 
OK, so now that I have dl yet another IM program what we are saying is that YAHOO is just fine????????

I am getting ready to stab myself in the eye too!!!!.......I AM deleting WLM and sticking with YAHOO and that is the end of it!!! If you want to add me, feel free..I would love to chat with any of you any time :thumbup:
 
Now see, I love me some screenshots.......I share them all the time and I chat with practically no one. LOL

I need to figure out yahoo - I actually use yahoo for my mail and I chat with people via yahoo all the time right there in my mail program but I think it might be different than yahoo messenger because I don't see any bells or whistles or such.
 
I can't live without screenshots now that I've had them. I always have a doodle or no doodle, put this here or there, question and having someone else's opinion always makes it so much easier!

All good things come to an end. So it is with sadness that we say goodbye to Hello.
Hello will be shut down on June 11th. We've extended this date to make sure we have enough time to communicate this as well as we can to our users.
We originally embarked on a mission to make photo sharing easier and more fun with Hello. We plan to keep carrying that torch in new projects to come.
We hope that you continue to enjoy the other sharing products Google offers including Picasa, Picasa Web Albums and Google Talk.
