PS CS3 question

Is it possible to copy text from PS CS3 (like journaling) and paste it into a notepad document? I have tried copy/paste and it does not work. It seems like it should be possible . . . what am I doing wrong? :confused:
 
I've noticed this too and haven't been able to copy/paste to and from other programs. I haven't figure it out, though I must admit I haven't tried overly hard.
 
I have CS2 but under your Preferences>General there should be an option for Export Clipboard. If it's not checked that's probably your problem.
 
Hmmm, mine is checked. I'm going to have to play around with this later and see if I can get it to work.

Are you using CS3? Not sure if this is your problem but it looks like there might be some kind of bug with the clipboard. There's some info about it here. Not sure if it would be the same on a Mac though.

Wow, thanks, Lynette! Yep, CS3. I don't have an install disk since I just purchased my upgrade online, but this gives me something to go on so I'm going to explore further when I get a chance.
 
I honestly have not tried to take it FROM Ps into another program, but it works fine going the other way LOL. I know that was useless information LOL
