:D on the billboard!! Too funny! I think I'll be voting for David A. because I think David Cook would be better off and more free to do what he wants if he isn't limited by the American Idol contract. Even though I like David Cook better, I don't know that it's in his best interest to win.

I agree with Julie. I think David A. would be better off winning because it just wouldn't be cool for the rocker guy to be referred to as the American Idol. He'll do really well without the title, plus he'll be free to do what he wants.

I am conflicted, because I really want David Cook to win and beat down that little nerd and stick it to his overbearing stage dad (no idea where my anger stems from with those two other then they annoy the hell out of me), but I also think he would be better off not winning and getting to do his own thing! I can't vote anyways, so it is a moot piont! LOL

I agree about him not winning but there is something about the finale and the winning that just really wants him to get it. Selfish I know. I love the church billboard!

I already told my hubby I'll actually be voting tonight (even though I've been participating in the guessing game here, I have yet to actually vote by phone this season). And I'll be voting for David Cook. I think he's a strong enough individual that he can make the most out of his contract. And I think AI is finally learning that giving the Idols freedom in their contract might lead to better sales. If Kelly and Carrie can make it work for them, David C can too.

I'm going to vote tonight...for the first time this season, and my vote (well...many votes) will be going to David Cook!! I've downloaded all of his songs off of iTunes... I can't vote for someone I won't buy anything from!!!

I agree totally about Cook NOT winning...Everyone I talk to around here agrees as well. I think it would serve David A to win and get his but kicked by that contract!!!!! I just wonder if deep down inside David C feel the same way!!! I still can't wait for tonite though!!!

I do think David Cook is probably better off NOT winning, but he is the better of the Davids. Hands down.

I'll be voting!! For my hottie David C of course!! I think he'll do okay winning, just look at last year's winner Jordin Sparks and even Carrie Underwood. Jordin seems to be doing well (her CD is pretty good, and she has that duet with Chris Brown) and Carrie has done really well on the country charts.

Yeah the judges definitely were stroking Archie tonight..though in fairness he did surpass my David Ctonight, but I love David C and think he'll be really successful. And not in the you hear-his-music-while-in-the-doctor's-office-waiting-room kind of way, which is what I forsee for David A (not that there's anything wrong with that).

I completely agree Sara! David Cook is much better but David A did win the night. I guess you ladies are right- David Cook not winning is probably best- lets him have more flexibility although the thought of David A winning kind of makes me sick LOL!
