So i went to the doctor today. Officially no more babies for me. While there is a chance things would be ok and ONLY go as they did this time (which is still scary!). However, there is a HUGE chance they could be worse and if things were worse they could go REALLY wrong. Internal bleeding - potential death to the baby or even me. NOT worth that chance. So with a VERY heavy heart, I will pack away my maternity clothes forever.

I do have two BEAUTIFUL healthy sons and I will forever be grateful to have them.
 
I was just watching a show this morning where a couple videotaped their decision for the husband to have a vasectomy and no longer have any more children. The wife said the last child was "bittersweet" as she knew that while the child was precious, it was difficult knowing it would be their last. I imagine you are feeling the same way. Hopefully in the end the decision will make you cherish the children you do have all the more, as that woman felt.

I saw the same show! (today show I think?)

(((priscilla))) hugs girl...you are blessed with 2 beautiful boys and you know there are other means to expand your family if that's what you choose in the future :)

I had my tubes tied after I had Cooper, the risk of having another miscarriage after having 3 scared me too much to take that chance again. I'm happy to have one of each.
 
So sorry that this is your reality...it's hard to be out of control of a situation like that. We are done by choice but still with a heavy heart. So I understand as best as I can without knowing firsthand what you went through. (((hugs))) to you.
 
thanks ladies - I keep telling myself I have healthy sons and there are TONS of babies out there that need a mommy and daddy if we want #3.

{{hugs}} As much as it has to hurt to be done before you were ready, better you take care of yourself and stick around to watch your sons grow up.
