i haven't played thus far, but cook is winning. no questions. no contest. do you hear the screams when he gets on stage?! =)
 
i actually think its going to be David Archuleta. I think this season (and possibly all the other seasons) are obviously "set up" to have a specific contestant win. And David A is just the "type" that the producers are looking for. He's got the tween/teen audience as well as the older crowd (think Clay Aiken fans) and he's willing to do just about anything they ask him to do.
So, while I think David Cook SHOULD win, I think David A WILL win.
And thats probably best for David Cook. He's gonna be a superstar no matter what.

So, in summary.... I'm picking David A to win the whole thing.

I think it'll be David A. tomorrow......I can almost guarantee I'll never buy anything he sings, but will be the first in line for David C.!
 
I think that The votes will swing Cook's way!! I don't want him to win though cause the winners very rarely succeed beyond idol!! So maybe be voting for Achuleta here will swing vote his way!!

I totally agree with everyone so far about David A. taking it all. I said as much in another thread here earlier. I have not even watched it yet but I know David Cook kicked butt and will do better outside of AI.

David A. to WIN...that is my final answer!!!!

Crap, this is a hard one. So, I'll pick David A. to win tomorrow...even though David C. is the real winner!

I can't wait until David C. puts his first CD out!!!
 
After voting 100 times and seeing how Dial Idol has Cookie predicted to win, I am changing my vote to David Cook!!

David A for sure. I was LOVING his Elton John song :) I actually like both of the guys and have since day one. I actually think I'll be buying everything they both put out. For instance, I'd love a love songs CD by David A, but I'll just have to pretend he isn't just a 17 year old kid. LOL But if I was picking a CONCERT to go to, it would definately be David Cook. He has a showmanship that is wonderful! They have such different styles and I'm loving them both. I can't imagine the incredible future for each of them!!

DC will win. Dial Idol predictions have David C for the win............they haven't been wrong during a finale yet.
DC is the real deal. Archuletta's just another Broadway cast member.:thumbdown:
 
tonight was my first night watching and since that's all i can go on...i'm going with david a. he was the best out of the two tonight (i'm not so sure about the other nights)
 
ok going out on a limb here..I THINK Archie was better tonite..but cookie has been better all season so I'm thinking his fans will pull him thru. I think he'll do fine under clive and simon's label and I hope he, like Carrie will have more freedom to go with their songs, etc when recording

DI has never been wrong, however, they only count phone votes, not texting.


Zabasearch has never been wrong either..and they DO count texting.


However, I'm a bit nervous about that "shocker!" title.

For the reasons that Jenny pointed out!
I love David Cook though, so I will be buying anything that he puts out. I don't think I would buy a whole album of David A though....
 
Well Manda and I voted 40 times together last night... so surely our cookie will win!

I've never phoned in a vote in my life EVER - so I think that alone will sway the vote in that hotties favor!
 
I'm going to go with David Cook. I really hope he wins just to spite all the David A hype, gotta love the underdog! :D
 
I think it'll be David A.

I don't think either of them are good enough. I think David A could be if he was older and David C. could be if he always picked the right songs... but he doesn't! I think David A. has more fans overall.
 
I'm betting David A wins even though I am a huge Cook fan. He worked here in Tulsa! :) yeah - I know you're jealous.

I think in the end though it will be better for David C. He'll have more freedom to do what he wants.

I was SOOOO bummed that I lost my computer for the last 2 weeks of voting! Who was the big winner here? Some family & friends of mine all got in on voting too but we picked who we thought would be the top 2 and the final winner and I won between us!!! WOOOOT! I love my David Cookie!!! :) Oh, and I love that I finally have my computer back. Now, I need to buy a back-up computer for the next time my PC has to take a trip to the doctors!
