Ok so I took a chance and bought a movie yesterday at walmart that I've never seen before cause I really like Steven King, has anyone seen it??
 
I really dislike horror flims but Andrew watched it and I *kinda* did. I got the jist of what was happening. He said that the book was amazing and the movie did it justice. I do know that the ending was terrible!! I cried!
 
not yet! but i want too. IMO, you cant go wrong with Steven King. unless you don't like him,lol
 
i think it's not a gorey horror film, more like suspenseful horror. my parents and sister saw it and said it was pretty cool, but REALLY REALLY bad ending.
 
I watched it....I love stephen king so ya...it's a good movie except the stupid twist at the end!!! ARG!!! what makes me mad tho...is one night i went out and my parents let my almost 3 yr old son watch it!!! I was so mad!
 
one question, I have a thing about children getting hurt(by an adult) or killed, if their is anything like this please please please let me know, I watched apocalypto and bawled for hours cause of the 1 scene
 
Oh, I'm with you on that one Micheline. We started watching a movie recently which got great reviews (Syriana, I think?) and there's a scene where a little boy gets killed in a swimming pool. I had to turn it off and was depressed for the rest of the night.
 
Nothing really scary at all in it..I agree with the suspense movie term. But the ending totally sucked!!!! I didn't like it and I don't remember that in the book!!!! :cursing: I need to find the book again and reead it!
 
yeah it was a great movie. I'm with everyone about the bad ending tho.

That just didn't fit the story line at all... not steven king anyway.
 
Another big SK fan here - I love his books and have read most of them but haven't read this one yet....Think I'll pick it up today when I'm out now that you girls brought it up!
 
We saw this movie, it's true to Stephen King form with it's irony and gorriness (is that a word)? I agree that the ending was terrible...I seriously never in a million years could do that to my own child...NEVER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
