are killing me! I want a REAL cupcake. But not just some lame cupcake I make or from the grocery store. I want a super fancy one from a bakery that just specializes in cupcakes.

oooooo.. now i might have to run up to the bakery at the top of the street and buy a cupcake..
what kind should i get, choconilla? red velvet?

hehe. the bakery up on the top of the street has AMAZING cupcakes. like, they're addicting. last week, i got some after lunch for the girls i work with, and they had red velvet, carrot cake, coconut, and orange.
they do all sorts of different flavors, change them up. they always have the plain vanilla, plain chocolate, and choco-nilla, which is chocolate cake with vanilla frosting.
okay, now i do have to go up there... lol.

hmm, maybe I can find an amazing cupcake recipe . . .
 
hahaha. $140 for a dozen assorted cupcakes, i think. they bake them and quick freeze them to keep them fresh (i looked it up!).
and yes, i'm spoiled. part of the reason i look like a cow right now. =P
 
uh, ok then, I really don't think cupcakes are worth $140.

i look like a cow but didn't even get to enjoy super special cupcakes. :mad:

i'm seriously thinking of going to Costco and buying cupcakes. may not be super special. but they'll be big :p

go buy big cupcakes. if my 6:00 client doesn't show, i'm gonna go up and get a red velvet one. -nods-

Williams-Sonoma has the Sprinkles cupcake mix, which are the really good ones that I used to get when I lived in Los Angeles. I was supposed to make some today but haven't gotten to it yet!
 
THE BAKERY CLOSES AT 6! i'm so annoyed. seriously. it's friday night. they should be open until at LEAST 7. lol.
oh well. i'll get the cupcake tomorrow.
i would bake my own. but i don't know where our cupcake tins are. i think they're still in a box.
 
You need to visit Vancouver, Mimi. This place is a little slice of heaven!... or is that little cupcake of heaven?... hmmm.... whatever, they're freakin' amazing, that's all you need to know!

I seriously think I will have a breakdown if I don't get a cupcake soon!
 
Now see guys, I just got back from the store and I got ICE CREAM and now I'm thinking, STUPID... why didn't you get cupcakes? LOL!

Oh I hate when that happens! Usually for me though, it's eggs. My eggs are ALWAYS expired whenever I need them!

I once was so desperate for sweets, that I made angel food cake, because the mix I had required nothing but water! LOL!
 
You girls seriously need to create a Flair that says Cupcakes Anonymous on it,lol. Or one with a cupcake picture with a big X thru it,lol.:p

Awwww... Now I'm the one who wants some cupcakes. And there are no decent cupcakes to be found here.

I miss NY... so many great cupcake places, there was a time when I was obsessed about finding the best ones in town. Put on quite a few pounds on that quest!
 
I wonder if there's a cupcake place in the city that I could find...LOL! I've always wanted to go to one of those places, but have NO idea where one is! But seriously, how GOOD would that be?! Mmmm...I'm drooling just thinking about it!
