I have two pretty little Abby albums looking at me and I was wondering if I can sand the edges. On all the chip that I use (the brown chip, anyway) I sand the edges and ink them. But I imagine that the black chip might need a different technique. What are you all doing with them?

I used the Jack album for mine and Zoe's "Toys For Boys" album and I just sanded as normal. Sanded down fine. :) You can see pics in the product description.

And you can always ink with a light color like white or a pastel chalk ink that matches your papers. :)

I sanded mine when I did my Tiki Wiki Jack Album and it worked well. I inked with a coffee brown color after sanding.

What are using to sand, just sand paper? Will a nail file work?

I use a nailfile on the basic chipboard. I love the smooth edges it gives my projects.

Oh I have one of these waiting to be played with :)

For those of you who have sanded them, can I ask if they are black or the normal sandy/brown "inside" please?

Hmmm...I guess I never thought about this. Good question though! I just picked up a Cosmo Cricket Blackboard album at my LSS so I'd be curious to hear the answer too. I'm guessing it's black throughout the chipboard though.

I would like to know this too!

Sorry, I really didn't pay attention when I sanded... and of course I inked over the edges in a coffee color so I can't see what the inside was. I hope someone else can answer your question!
