OUCH!

So my youngest had a little scuffle with the tailgate of DH's truck last night. I think the tailgate won...

Owie! A few years back, I swung the lift gate on my van down right on my nose and broke it. It was a freak of physics...I have no idea how my nose managed to be in the way (it's not like it's a big nose). I drive a Ford Windstar, and that lift gate is HEAVY, so I have to do the whole pull-with-both-arms-as-hard-as-I-can technique to close it properly, and my little ol' nose was no match. Now, I have an ugly scar which you can see in my photo...right there top of the bridge. :(

ouch. we used to have a ford windstar. They do have heavy liftgates!

He does look like he came out the loser in this battle...lol
Hope his head doesn't hurt too bad.
 
Oh, poor thing!! He looks so pathetic in that photo too. Poor guy.
With that said, it has potential for a great scrapbook page... I'm seeing a title to the effect of.... "I fought the truck, and the truck won" or something like that... :) lol
In all seriousness, I'm glad he's ok. It could have been worse.
 
I think it goes without saying that there will be a layout to commemorate the event. And can I just say how nice his eyebrows are? And love the little freckles across his nose. What a cutie...despite the battle scar.

If he does get a scar, just tell him it builds character and girls will find it cute. I'm sure that'll make him feel better :p
