I am new to digital scrapbooking and I absolutly love it!!! It is so much fun. I saw some layouts where the picture is sized to be a 12x12 and then they blended it into the background paper. How do they make the picture that big? I can't figure it out.
Note: I am using Photoshop Elements.
Thanks for the help. I love this place.

I can't speak for anyone else.. lol because I'm not sure what they do.. but I'd say either 1) they just upsize and then blend-- it won't matter if it's a little blurry due to the upsize because of the blending or 2) they scrap like me & scrap @ 8X8 :)

Depending on your camera and what size/quality the pictures you take are, your original photos might be big enough already. Check your camera's settings and take the highest quality ones you can. Otherwise, you can scale them up or size your page down and scrap in 8x8 (that is my favorite size!).

If you're asking HOW to resize a photo in PSE, here is what you do....
Open the photo in PSE
Go to Image --> Resize --> Image Size
In the "Document Size" section at the bottom half of the box, change your resolution to 300 and your width and height to whatever you want.
Hope that helps!!
