used scrapping magazines??

I am putting tonnes of scrapping stuff in a garage sale this weekend and I am wondering if I should haul my very big collection of past issues of scrappin magazines and sale them for like $1, OR should I just recycle them

C

It can't hurt to put them out for sale, and then to recycle whatever doesn't sell. Or donate someplace.

I personally would not but I am also of the mind that people will buy anything. I've heard of people buying and selling partially used cosmetics .

So, you're getting rid of your old scrap mags? I was just thinking about doing the same today. But mine are in terrible shape so I think I'll just recycle them.

I bought the entire first 3 years of Simple Scrapbooks off Ebay LOL, for about $1 each. I love that magazine, try it ya never know. I give my other mags that I'm not keeping to my daughters art teacher at school, she lets the kids cut them up and use for collages and stuff.

A friend of mine put like five years worth of CK magazines on eBay and sold them all.

I have heard they sell really well on Ebay so that is what I am planning on doing. I have 6 years worth of Simple Scrapbooks, Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbook Trends and BHG Scrapbooks Etc in my room! LOL!

You know I never considered that anyone would buy them..I have loads of old magazines and was *just* thinking about what to do with them.

I would buy past issues, for sure... not a HUGE lot, I don't have room to store them, and I've been getting rid of my magazines too. You might have more success on Ebay than a garage sale... but of course it's more complicated.
My library has a magazine exchange box where you can drop off old magazines that you don't want and pick up other people's cast offs. I love it! People drop off some great mags, and my scrap magazines are always picked up the same day, so someone out there is reading them! (and once I noticed that someone returned it to the box for someone else to read... yeah, I'm at the library a lot with the kdis!) you could see if there is a local cropping club, or library that will make them available if you can't sell them...
