custom fonts?

Back in the day I think Darcy Baldwin used to do custom handwriting fonts here (right?)

Is there anyone here now who does them? I want to get 1-2 custom fonts made. I love to use them on my layouts all the time, i love the personal touch! I lost my fonts though as my last HD died and I didn't have my font files backed up.

thanks!

Good question!! All the people that I know who did this have retired from it. I've tried for years figuring out how to do it myself, but I've never been successful.

I have an app on my ipad to do it. I tried it once. I didn't really like it maybe because I don't like my handwriting but I'm sure it can be learned. It's called iFontmaker

I've downloaded that, but I've never been able to get that app to work. Is there a secret to exporting the font when it's created?

I think I saw you can purchase a custom font at teachers pay teachers.

hmm I would have to look at it again. I've done it but it was years ago.

I had mine done- but through Becky Higgins/Project Life. She did a wonderful job back & forth a few times to make sure it was as close to perfect as possible! I do really like to use it for a more personal touch to my layouts!

https://2ttf.com

That’s the iFontMaker website. It explains how to do it and you can transfer to a true type font.

I love Darcy's fonts…. I used to have all her fonts!:p

I only know this website to do your custom font but wasn't as perfect as I wanted.

Here's the link: https://www.calligraphr.com/en/

Hope it helps.
