QOTD DSD Edition: How are you spending DSD weekend?
 

It's almost time! DSD weekend is almost here.
Curious minds want to know... how are you spending the weekend? Are you shopping, scrapping, participating in games, none of that or all of that? Or something completely different?

All of the above! I'm definitely going to scrap and shop. I'll participate in games that are quick and in the scrapping challenges that are listed in the forums with the games. My focus is more on scrapping and shopping than on games. I can't wait for DSD!

Of course, shopping! Unlike every other year, this weekend will be a more quiet one, so I might have more time for scrapping. I'm just going to play it by ear.

All of the above!!! I especially love the challenges because they give me the chance to challenge myself and getting pages done :)

I'm looking forward to shopping and scrapping. I'll do some games if they are easy or fun, but I'm not into the more complicated games that take up a lot of time. I've actually been on a kick to get all of my EHDs organized so I know what is where. I need to consolidate and get those organized once and for all. I'm hoping that frees me up to do more scrapping. I'm seeing lots of old photos that are begging to be scrapped.

I hope to do a little of everything. I've been couped up in the house for 3 wks (aside from going to physio) for back/pain injury and wasn't able to sit for more than a few minutes at a time, needing to lay down but I'm now able to sit up for longer periods so am hoping to enjoy this wkend.

I love the games, so I always check those out. I'm definitely thinking I'll be doing some shopping. I'm not sure if I'll get any scrapping done; we'll see!

Definitely games, maybe scrapping, no to shopping! We leave next week on vacation and I have a zero spending budget until then! I haven't fully been able to participate in a couple years due to a BIG group vacation this coming weekend. But we weren't able to go this year due to our family vacation next week....so bring on the fun!

I am sure I will do a little shopping :) and I really am hoping to get to participate in some of the games and get some scrapping done. My Saturday is pretty well booked though so not sure how much I will get to participate in games or scrap. Saturday my youngest is celebrating her 11th birthday with a couple friends coming over, then it is straight to a soccer game (that's an hour or so drive away) for the middle kid, then once we are back it will be a quick dinner and heading to the high school football game to watch the oldest play in the band....I'm so excited for them to be able to do some things, but I'm a little sad Saturday is soo full!

I will def be doing some shopping. Then hoping to play a few games and scrap a little if I can!

I actually have Friday off from work! YAY and this is the 1st weekend in many that we won't have our grandkiddos - so I hope to scrap, shop and play all weekend!

Friday is the last day of the quarter for us, but grades are due the next week. I need to do planning for the second quarter, and we're going to the beach. I don't anticipate having a lot of time for fun and games this weekend. : ( But I'm sure I'll still find time for shopping!

I'll be shopping, but Sunday will be spent with my mom and family - it will be the 1 year anniversary of my dad's passing last year.

I have to work on Saturday & Sunday, so hoping to fit some fun in before I have to go to work.

I'm generally churning out so many pages for iNSD and DSD that the last thing I want to do on the actual day is scrap but I haven't done nearly as much scrapping in the last month so maybe I will end up scrapping after all?! Maybe some shopping, too.

It should be a chill Saturday: hanging out and chores and errands. During the school year, the kids are only allowed to play video/computer games on the weekends so I know I'll have some time to myself to scrap if I want. :D

I am hoping doing some challenges but we've been painting rooms in our home for the last two weekends and we still have plenty to do (taking our time) so I'll be either painting or scrapping :)

I wanna spend it playing games and scrapping, I really do..... I just need to get the house in order so I can relax and do that rather than stress about sitting while theres a mess..... hopefully I'll get everything done today.

I am hoping to little of everything. In the past we are usually at games or doing something but NOTHING is planned...yay! I told my boys I am not moving from the computer. I will be scrapping this weekend. :)

I'm hoping to have time to play some games & shop. My daughter has a double header on Saturday & we're going to dinner with the inlaws- so hopefully Saturday morning & then all day Sunday I've tried to keep free for some DSD fun!

It's been a rough week - couple days of pain flare and migraines recovering from a busy weekend with out of town guests, and then my Granddad died yesterday. He was my sole remaining, living grandparent. He's back on the east coast with my Mom's family, and I won't be traveling in for the funeral. Needless to say, it's been a heavy, emotional time.

So I think the distraction of DSD is coming at a good time. I'm going to shop a bit, play some games, and I might just scan some older photos and create a layout or two in honor of my grandfather.

I am conferencing all day tomorrow, so I hope to get some scrap time in after church on Sunday.

Shopping, playing games, going through my wish lists 987 times figuring out what I want...umm need! In all seriousness, it’s a chill weekend here - family works all weekend so it’s just me which hopefully means I can play to my hearts content. The only other thing I need to do is work on a job application....it’s not due til the 14th but I’ve seen the 8 pre screening application questions and they’ll take some thinking so best to start sooner rather than later.

I am hoping to scrap and shop. Games might be hard, as I am STILL celebrating my birthday this weekend..

It's official......no painting for us this weekend ! My husband is very busy for work so we decided to skip the painting and focus on other things...for me that's dsd & scrapping :)

I am hosting a scrap/craft day for some local ladies. I'm so excited because we haven't been able to get together since summer last year.

I already shopped tonight! Tomorrow I am cleaning out my garage and baking a birthday pie, but maybe there will be time to play a couple games and scrap. Sunday is cooking day for the week but more time for scrapping :D
