We are suppose to get 10 to 16 inches before it's all said and done!!! :glare:

We were going to visit family in Johnstown this weekend til we saw the forecast and decided we'll make the trip another weekend.

I figured we would get some snow but so far nothing *fingers crossed* Stay safe!

well I'm in the south and it's a whopping 40 degrees here so far today! Wayyy tooo cold for April!

cardinalskate 04-23-2012 07:32 AM

Wowza! I'm glad it was too warm here and was just rain when it came through our neck of the woods!

lorigaud 04-23-2012 07:57 AM

Yuck! That is just nasty! We are having torrential rains here in Maine today, but thankfully no snow in the forecast in my part of the state.

Sweeet 04-23-2012 08:03 AM

.....brrrrrrr, I feel for ya. Although we need that snow/moisture like many, I surely don't miss it. Keep warm girl! :hugs:

Wow! I remember one April storm in Connecticut when I was about 8 that had us out of school for 3 days with snow up to my waist. Today we're just getting rain and cold temps. I actually wouldn't have minded a little snow because we had none this winter, but 10-16 inches is too much!

lovely1m 04-23-2012 08:32 AM

Its supposed to be in the 70s in North Dakota. Weird, huh? Hope the snow doesn't affect you too much!

maryinaz 04-23-2012 09:44 AM

It was 105 here yesterday. :cursing: A little show would have felt good, but just a little. ;) Good luck!

glumirk 04-23-2012 10:48 AM

We are getting tons of rain here, which is perfect, since it's been so dry here.

I hope you don't lose too many trees or power! Those heavy snows are always the scary ones.

It's a beautiful, clear, sunny 80 degrees here. My hubby is actually going to start planting corn today or tomorrow. He would die if we got snow right now (and so would our wheat, but that's a different story.)

It looks pretty!

mariewilcox 04-23-2012 11:29 AM

It's raining buckets here in central Maine and we really needed it. NY/PA can keep the snow over there!

Mari - that is weird about N. Dakota - it's been a really strange year weather wise up here so now I'm wondering what summer is going to bring!

hollyxann 04-23-2012 12:02 PM

Holy frickin wind!!! :cursing:

It's so windy here today! Akron suddenly became the windy city. lol I've heard numerous branches crack outside and my parents wooden fence even came down.

LJSDesigns 04-23-2012 02:28 PM

I know my family in PA is getting hit pretty hard by the snow, but they are all safe and warm so I won't worry. Here in Indiana it is sunny, but cold. I'll take it over the snow any day. You all be safe. :)
