I recommend ...

I thought we should have a thread to point our fellow hybriders (I just made that word up I think :p ) in the direction of our hybrid 'must haves', 'can't live withouts' and 'have you seens!!'

I'm starting with the most fantastic sparkly glittery spray in the world! I know my photographs don't do it justice but look at my sparkly paper:

This is what I used:

Spray and Sparkle by Crafters Companion, it is the best shimmery sparkly spray I have found. Just print your papers, make your projects then spray them sparkly. I think it comes in silver and gold as well as the iridescent which I have (3 cans of it :D ) ... and ... they have a US shop too for all of you over there at the other side of the pond ;)

So, what can you tempt me with?

That looks great Andrea. I still stay away from glitter, as I share the opinion of someone once saying: Glitter is the herpes of crafting. Once it's there, you will NEVER get rid of it completely. :)
I have however detected, that there is something called Mod Podge SPARKLE. Thaaaat's tempting.

ooooh - that spray looks so cool ! and since it is described at "hardwearing varnish with glitter" i am guessing that maybe the glitter does not escape and go everywhere?

eta - i meant to type DOES NOT escape! oops!

Glitter is well and truly stuck!

I would be careful where you spray it though. I nip outside and spray it as we have a few delicate chests in our household so anything that is sprayed from a can gets sprayed outside but because it's been really cold I haven't been far from the back door and now I've noticed our wooden patio table (which is where I spray) is very sparkly :p Perhaps I should have sprayed onto scrap paper

Heheh, not sure I'd enjoy a sparkly balcony. :)

As for hybrid must-haves...I recently discovered self adhesive ribbons. Like the one I used here:

They are sooo nice and easy... I love easy.

OOh pretty :) I like those

Unfortunately I have no clue which company those came from. Got them at the scrap store. But I guess if you search for self adhesive ribbons at the big online places, many come up.
