January has nearly come to an end.
Show us your favorite layout you scrapped this month and tell us a little why you love it so much.

For me.......it has to be this one. 2018 is going to be all about me and trying to improve myself in a lot of ways. I have to try not to be so hard on myself anymore.......when I fail, I tend to linger in that failure feeling for a long time and I just have to stop beating myself up and realize......tomorrow is a new day and it's going to be good :) I think that is going to make a lot of things a lot easier for sure.

I scrapped a lot of pages this month so I had a little difficulty chosing just one.
Here are my 2 faves:

I'm not much of an art journaler, but I love how this one came out. I like all the different kinds of elements like the paint, the flowers, word art... It all came together so easily.

My 2nd favorite. I wanted to scrap more everday moments this year. So I took some rainy photos at my office. And eventhough it was a dreary day, I still like how my layout turned out.

I love your art journaling LO, Sarah!! That's a style I really want to work on.

I'm not much of a journaler so for me to make a page with journaling as the primary focus was a huge challenge and I was happy with how it turned out.

That's tough... I made so many! But I think it's this one. I have been sick for a long time and it makes me irritable, so I wanted to make a page to tell my kids just how much they mean to me and how much I love them, and how I hope I'm able to teach them everything they need to know to survive in the world.

I think it's this one. I have all the feels of awkwardness and shyness when I posted this one. I don't always post 'important' journals of my layout visible. But for this one, I bravely post it without blurring the journal.

This is my favourite - I love the big photo. I'm making an effort this year to get more photos of the four of us together (no matter how much it bugs everyone else to be in them!) as most of my photos and scrapbook pages are just of the kids. This page will be one of the first in my 2018 family album.

Picking just one is really hard, but I love how this one turned out. It just pops and the sentiment and journaling for my daugter makes it meaningful.

It's been a slow scrapping month for me, so I didn't have many pages to choose from. lol! :D
Here's my favorite. I searched high and low for my old engagement photos for this one and finally found them to scan in. I plan to make a coordinating page with more of them as well.

I'm just so happy to be back here and back to scrapping. I know it's a cop out answer lol but my whole cover all bingo card :) I can't wait to see next month's challenges, and all the birthday stuff, and my birthday is the 7th! Too exciting next month!

I think this is my favorite, because it's my daughter at our favorite place we visited this summer, Hope Gallery which is a graffiti park in Austin, TX. Just this week, it was announced that this park is going to be demolished and relocated elsewhere. While they are moving it, I'm sad the place that we saw will no longer be.

Plus with this layout, I learned to shadow differently (not so dark) with the lighter colors of this layout. It's one of the few things that I learned this month as I try to improve my style, composition and overall scrapbooking.

For me it was this layout below..... I have been wanting to scrap this layout ever since I took these photos 2 years (almost 3 years) ago!!! In fact, I think I took these photos to match this kit because I really wanted to use it.... (either that or this kit came out just after I took these photos and I knew they were perfect for each other!).... I've had the kit for forever but just never used it....... I was so happy to finally put everything together on a layout. :) :) :)

So many gorgeous pages in this thread! For me, it was this one. When you have the perfect photo to go with a stunning kit that just happens to have word art that works for your daughter's middle name, it feels a little serendipitous. :wub::wub:
