trucks, car, train, etc..just think of lman and do what he likes for it :)

juliemarie 12-07-2009 01:46 PM

Great colors! I know I could use a horse/cowboy/cowgirl kit in those colors :)

aggiefamily 12-07-2009 01:50 PM

Just like dad!

iJenny 12-07-2009 01:50 PM

Oooh, what about a preppy hipster boy kit? Kinda trendy with an emphasis on clothing and style? I'm seeing things like Chuck Taylors, hoodies, varsity/letterman stripes and letters.

Let me know if you need more specifics.

lauren grier 12-07-2009 02:18 PM

I was trying to help you last night.. you are difficult. lol

tettletop20 12-07-2009 02:20 PM

Pretty colors!

I was thinking along the lines of a warm, summer sunset type kit. Perfect for scrapping beach-y (or non-beach-y) sunsets or by-the-campfire type pictures. Summer Bonfire possibly?

I agree. :p

carriesmom 12-07-2009 02:24 PM

Maybe a southwest sunset type of kit. I alos thought about frosted falling leaves. The blue reminds me of ice and the other colors of falling leaves. Sort of smushing fall and winter together.

AllieP 12-07-2009 02:25 PM

I'd love to see a "Brothers" kit, like the Bratty Brothers except loving. :) Those are cute colors!

rachaelsscraps 12-07-2009 02:27 PM

I'd love to see an all-things boy kit!!!! I have a 4 year old, and I could see using those papers (and colors) for a boy kit, for sure! What I haven't seen yet, and would LOVE to see, would be a boy & his friends type kit!!! Something to do with hanging out, playing in a clubhouse, sleeping over, playing together! My son's going to have his first real sleep-over/hang out with my (11 & 7 year old) brothers over Christmas break, and I'd love to scrap the pictures with those colors!!!!
You could maybe throw in some trucks, video game/board game stuff, popcorn, those kinds of things?

Balinda 12-07-2009 02:28 PM

I see warmth..hot chocolate, sweaters, around the fireplace...an everyday moments kit

KirstieGai 12-07-2009 02:28 PM

It's summer where I live and I see those colours as summery or Indian Summer kinda feel. Summer campouts by the lake.

Amen to that!:p

hollyxann 12-07-2009 03:00 PM

So many good suggestions.
Definitely a boys kit of some kind.

Leah 12-07-2009 03:01 PM

We need some green in there. :D

What about a home decor kit?? Even in a boys room? You could do a coordinating kit for "In a girls room" too?

What about a Build-A-Bear kit?

The colors kind of make me think of home-cooking too. :)

I'm all over the place with ideas! LOL

jessica31876 12-07-2009 03:05 PM

defenitely boys...Im thinking like a boy and his dog or maybe country/camping/outdoorsy type kit.

neenee 12-07-2009 03:08 PM

I see bugs.......you know...nature. Lizards, bugs, crawlie and flying things.

A hot chocolate kit would be lovely!

cindys732003 12-07-2009 03:14 PM

Whatever it turns out to be, I hope it's one of those awesome Kristin Boy kits ....yay!!!!

AnnieBananie 12-07-2009 03:17 PM

Eyeballs and things that look like eyeballs. :p

MamaBee 12-07-2009 03:24 PM

I thought, too, sunset...

I also see a 9 to 5 kit... maybe because I use to work for a company who's color was that blue... and the brown reminded me of coffee... lots and lots of coffee for deadlines... dreaming of vacation (reds and oranges of sunets at on island far and far away... *sigh*). So yeah... office, deadlines, phones, spreadsheets, computers... computers going bad (seeing red)... paper piles... etc.

scrappurple 12-07-2009 03:26 PM

I see an "Eve Bash" ... Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve. :) I have two girls, so a boy kit never crossed my mind!! ;)

jenn7 12-07-2009 03:38 PM

Oh I love the colors! First thoughts... sunsets, indian summer, blue jeans & baby dolls (I desperately need a toddler girl kit).

junebug 12-07-2009 03:51 PM

definitely boyish. something preppy. don't know what else, lol.

this idea has me kookoo for cocoa puffs.

NettieB 12-07-2009 04:20 PM

um... a new revised update to denim and diamonds? pretty pretty please? ;)

mnm_y2 12-07-2009 04:36 PM

I also see a boy kit for those colors. I'm thinking something with boys & toys or games they play.. like hide & go seek or just being outside being boys. The orange reminds me of being outside.

I think the colors are good for fall/leaves - and boys being outside running around in all that.

sczos911 12-07-2009 04:40 PM

a "you make me..." kit - hearts, swirlies, flowers, buttons, gems. kinda like a You warm my heart thing - cause with the colors I see warm and cozy, but i also see love and adoration.

Kiki 12-07-2009 04:50 PM

I see a party kit of some type...or a Red Hot love kind of kit that would be manly. I also see a sort of Bob the Builder type of kit - legos, building toys, blocks, etc.

For girls I see a Sassy kit. Attitude with a capital A.

Serendipity 12-07-2009 05:09 PM

I'm going against the grain and hoping its not a boy kit because I'm selfish like that... Speaking of selfish, I'm all about "me" right now. So any kits that would help to scrap about me is great. And I flippin' love those colors. Goals, inspiration, dreams, hobbies, etc etc.

Okay I'm no help. If I were good at ideas for kits I'd design them. lol

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this idea or the hot chocolate one someone posted above. Both full of awesomeness

Sheana 12-07-2009 05:25 PM

I see a cold winter day inside, lounging in jammies by the fire, drinking hot cocoa, roasting marshmallows, eating s'mores, etc.

Sharon Kay 12-07-2009 05:40 PM

These colors make me think of "science" ... science fair, experiments, beakers, atoms, the elements chart, competitions ... and even math ... equations ....

I love the Geek kit and have used it for 20+ layouts ... but I could definitely use something in this color range for all the science stuff we are into ... we're into:

Science Experiments - Space - weather - programming - arduino microcontrollers - electronics - electricity experiments - "take apart", fix, and rebuild better items around the house - ROBOTS (like no one knew about this).

I would love to give you specific ideas on elements for the kit...and even some background paper ideas.

AnnieBananie 12-07-2009 06:22 PM

WTF is a "Chuck Taylor"

lizzyfizzy 12-07-2009 06:34 PM

annie, pull yourself together. you don't know what chuck taylors are? old school b-ball shoes made by converse??

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/f...c765237970.jpg

the man himself. take a look at chuck.

whispers to sharon...

you are always looking for science kits.

:D:D:D:D

yes this. Do this. I mean it.

rach3975 12-07-2009 07:47 PM

I third the Brothers kit, but I want a mix of loving and arguing. I want to be able to scrap the way their relationship really is-oughhousing pals one minute and mortal enemies the next.

This is the first thing that came to mind for me too because these are the colors in my office! It's blue carpet and chairs, and then the woods on the desk and on one wall are those warm golds and browns.

tettletop20 12-07-2009 08:26 PM

I've been thinking a bit more....what about a kit to play off of the Black Eyed Peas song "I Gotta Feeling" (that tonight's gonna be a good night)? Warm, good feelings like family time, time around a bonfire. ??? Just throwing an idea out there!

Oh, I love this idea! I would totally buy that.

I have no new ideas, but its totally a boy theme, too, which excites the heck out of me. A new KCB kit for me! (course, I still buy some of the girly ones, too ;) )

heathergw 12-07-2009 09:04 PM

Oh, those are my favorite colors...

I see sunset at the pier.

SmallMoments 12-07-2009 09:39 PM

I haven't read the other replies, but my first thought was to focus on the blue/cream/brown with the red/orange/yellow accents and do either a winter sunset theme or a ski lodge type kit.

SmallMoments 12-07-2009 09:45 PM

Joel (my hubby) says 80s sports wear. Or Playstation's little big planet. LOL

rach3975 12-07-2009 09:45 PM

I like hot chocolate/everyday moments inside, but winter indoors makes me think of being trapped inside. You know, desperately struggling for calm, trying to keep the kids from jumping on the furniture by reading the same book 576 times, playing board games over and over and over, baking with them, watching videos, etc.

KristinCB 12-07-2009 09:52 PM

k girls thank you SOO much for your ideas!! I'm gonna be taking some of them up with different colors. I have contacted the "winning idea" and so you'll have to stay tuned saturday (hopefully!) to see what I picked.

Thanks again!!
