Sure Cuts A Lot or Make the Cut
 

If you have a cutting machine, do you use any of these software programs and if so, why? I am trying to make a plan for this year to use my machine more but do struggle (cuz I don't sit down and learn it) and wondered what is so great about these programs. Thanks!

lol I was going to just pm you right now for help. I have a bosskut gazelle and would like to dust it off to use your files. I can't seem to understand it saw some people use these other softwares for their files and want to know why.

I use SCAL (and I use the silhouette designer edition). I use scal mostly because my SDE became a hunk of junk and doesn't work half the time) but now that I have been using scal, I like it, its never given me a problem and it has layer panel like photoshop. I also think the tracing in scal is much better/easier too. I really like MTC but it doesn't work natively on a mac, without bootcamp or parallels, so I'll stick with scal.
