I love discovering new fonts every month! Thank you!

Could you give some examples for Summer sixlet collabs please? how do we find them in the shop?

Also quick question about the prizes. I saw the 4 lucky winners but no mention of a $50 certificate. Is it no longer the case?

If you look HERE, there is a lucky winner of $50. :)
For August, please wait a bit, it should be announced soon.

thank you for your reply but I meant for this next September bingo. It's not announced in the prizes so I figured it was discontinued.

Lea, it does says that if you do a blackout, you will be entered for a chance to win that big prize ;)
Quote:

Blackout: To earn a 40% discount and be entered to win a $50 gift certificate to the shoppe, you'll need to get blackout and fill in your entire card (we'll let you have the center space free this time)...
Also, here is an example of me using one of the summer sixlet collabs:

I still don't know what a sixlet collab is. Where do we find them in the store? Searching didn't help.

jacinda 09-03-2017 02:59 AM

The Summer Sixlets were free over the summer when you spent $20 or more. Here are the ones I can find:

hichchei 09-04-2017 12:11 AM

Thanks!

roxana 09-04-2017 09:03 AM

Robin said that they're only FWP offers this summer. They may be available as part of our Flashback Finale for our Anniversary in Feb.
So sorry, Roxana.

lingovise 09-05-2017 07:33 AM

I'm sorry there has been confusion about #15: Using a Summer Sixlet Collab. I didn't intend for the prompt to in any way exclude people from playing along... so if you didn't happen to snag one of these over the summer, please feel free to use any SSD FWP collab that you might have in your stash ♥ I hope that helps.

roxana 09-05-2017 08:34 AM

Thank you Sherly and Loni!!

Swan82 09-07-2017 06:24 AM

Can someone please explane to me what does #19 mean? "Talk like a Pirate day"

And #6 Technique: white space - is there a tutorial about it?

#9 Color challenge: Monochromatic - does it mean black and white?

#18 Extended family - I cant understand this one too... Is it about family portrait?

Sorry for many quastions :o

PS About august Bingo have one question as a winner #8 (or maybe i am wrong?) - I wrote two emails already few dayse ago about my prize kit but didn't get a respond... What should I do?

Saar 09-07-2017 06:58 AM

I've got some samples for #9 monochromatic.
Monochromatic means one color. It doesn't have to be black and white.

Here's an example using blue.
https://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com...ngoMay9web.jpg

And one using pink
https://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com...llenge6web.jpg

Saar 09-07-2017 07:09 AM

6 whitespace:

Here's an example using whitespace.
It means that you only use a tiny amount of space on your layout.

I'll ask Robin about it, I hope she'll get back to you soon.

Thank you, Sara for helping.

#18 Extended family:
This one you can scrap a photo of your extended family (e.g., cousin, uncle, aunts, grandparents) or scrap about your relationship with one of them. For example, here I scrapped about my son & his great-grandpa:
https://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com...yonup-copy.jpg

Quote:

#19 "Talk like a Pirate day":
You can simply scrap a pirates-themed page or scrap a page with a pirates' phrase as a title. Here is some examples:

Here is the tutorial about white space: https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/t...2/white-space/

#9 Color challenge: Monochromatic - does it mean black and white?
It can be black and white it can be a page which only use 1 dominant color, just like Sara's pages above.
Here is a couple of examples:

The link to my own personal bingo card is bringing me to a jpg, instead of an download link. Can someone direct me to the proper download link?

I just save the copy Loni posted. I hardly ever click the download link.

Sorry for the confusion... it's not actually a "download" link - where you download a file to your computer - instead the link takes you to the full size version of the card where you would first [double] click on the card image and then right click and save the image to your files. Hope that helps.

For #23 bokeh challenge, is it ok to use a paper that has a bokeh? or should it be a pic?

#23 is for the Photography challenge, so it needs to be a picture... but please feel free to get creative. You could use an app or filter to incorporate the effect... or use a digital element to achieve a bokeh appearance.

Here's a page I did, where I layered an element from the kit on my photo to replicate a bokeh pattern.

Hope that helps!

It goes in the Bingo thread where you post your completed bingo card. For September, it will be HERE.
