Everything is so scary!

We have fires around us but so far the only thing threatening us here is all the smoke - rain is badly needed throughout our area though :(

It's just so awful, hope we could hear from you and I join Kristin and Sheri sending positive thoughts and prayers and hope everybody will be safe.

Kristin, hope you'll have rain and that you won''t have to evacuate because of the bad smokes. Lot's of courage!

There are six wildfires that are affecting my city with smoke...it's icky out there. Stay safe everyone!!

We've got wildfires here too. One just up the canyon a few miles. The smoke's terrible. We could be dealing with worse though. Praying for everyone else.

I am less than 30 miles from a wildfire that has spread over 32k acres. All because two teen boys thought it would be funny to shoot fireworks off a cliff and watch them land below.

I hope everyone is safe. The smoke is terrible here, Ash is covering everything air quality is bad.

I'm in Central Florida. We are getting prepared for IRMA. I just waited an hour and thirty mins for gas and that was after 5 other attempts! My town is almost spooky weird. I'm not looking forward to the next few days, but know those coastal are in a much more difficult place. We will get the winds, rain and even tornado spin offs. None are good. Just pray she moves back into the ocean and people and property are safe.

Absolutely zero weather here, but I am so stressed out for all you that are in natures path of destruction! I wish I could just bring everyone to my house for a big sleepover until it's over!

Thanks, ladies. I just checked the path on a weather mapping website and their hurricane path goes right through my neighborhood. My house is at the + in that circle. :blink:

Of course, we are watching the TV now and the map they have shows the path moving further west now. Sigh. Who knows where it will go??? Things can change at the last minute, it's weather. All we can do is try to guess what it's going to do. It's a pretty terrible feeling not knowing. :o
