Just found this thread!!! LOVE IT! I want to do something too, but haven't started yet. Like the simple square and the 4x6 size.

Here are my family's thoughts for yesterday, day 2:
Me: I am so grateful for long, hot showers today! I have been a mom since I was 17 and spent most of my life rushing through showers to get back to the little one that was waiting. Taking quick 5 min "mom" showers! Now that the girls are older I can take my time and enjoy it, and boy does that hot water feel awesome first thing in the morning!!! Sam: I am grateful that all of my teachers are good teachers, none of them are rude or mean on not helpful. Because I need help and they are willing to help me and I really need it. Kay: I am grateful for modern transportation. If we didn't have it I would be stuck in one spot my whole life and let's me keep in touch with other people I am farther from and lets me have opportunities I would not have in my life otherwise. Becca: I am grateful for my family because without them I would be really sad and lonely. Also they protect me and love me unconditionally. Marc: I am thankful for having an innate talent for technical things. |

So I bought this Album (Easy Album 2 by Janet Phillips) of Janet's forever ago and I think it's gonna be just perfect to scrap this!! So here is my day 1 scrapped!!!

Juli - I wish I could colored picture on that one as background is gorgeous green hills, but it was taken against the sun and has yellow cast on the photo! lol The only way to save the photo was to make it b/w. I know I have tons more pics of two of us, but this one was taken during one of my lunch visit. Just brings back the good memories. :) Oh.. I also bought the kit, so I'm sure that I'll be adding, changing the pages as I go.

Juli -- I'm glad you started this thread and I love the template you chose (and thank you for reminding me to include family vacation since we actually had one this year). Jessica -- I love your pages without photos. Tanyia -- I love that everyone in your family is participating. Kjersti -- I love how you made such a gorgeous page about cupcakes! I think all your pages are gorgeous. MummytoThree -- I love how you have so many details from your day. Laura -- I love your use of embellishments and the beautiful pages you made about your family. Monica -- I love the template you chose. I also like the 8x8 size and I think I will be choosing that also. Ripal -- I love that you have been in the photos with your family. Heather -- I love your hybrid goodness for your cover. If I missed someone that has shared their pages please forgive me. It was not intentional. I have something for every day so far I just need to go through my stuff and find a kit and template to use. Hoping to start scrapping this afternoon. :) |
Day 3 I am thankful for friends and family who are willing to listen to me vent when I am scared or hurting even though they all have their own problems and lives to deal with. (not scrapped yet...probably tonight)

Day 4 of gratitude: I am thankful for two things. For the nurses and doctors who are trying so hard to get my husband well enough to come home. Second for my best friend who does not like driving at night came to the hospital to pick me up and would not take any gas money because she had to put gas in her car anyway.

I just can not believe it!!! Small world! You're the second scrapper that made connection with me/Livermore just thru random talk! :)
One day, I was in SBB chatroom (dating myself here.. this was before DST was found!), I shared pics of my trip to Yosemite and she asked how far I lived from there.. and it turned out that she lived in Livermore too! She doesn't scrap anymore, but we still see each other about once a year. Yes, we'll have to meet for lunch some day! Doing happy dance now!!! :) |
